Title:
Rare 48' Hamilton Piping Rock
Serviced
Description: EXCELLENT condition. This watch is a hair short of new old stock
condition. Purchased from an estate and having one good sized scratch on
the back and a deep gouge on the side but with the original brushed
finish on the sides and very sharp edges (shows little to no buffing
over the years which rounds the edges and can make the hinges loose).
The 1948 version is two times the watch that the 28 Piping Rock is.
Extremely heavy and thick with super tight construction and very tight
hinged lugs. This later version also has a thick bowl shaped one piece
case rather than the usual snap on back. Enamel bezel is perfect and
original. Dial is original but with some light age. We can refinish if
you like at no extra cost but it will be awhile to get that done. This
has about 20 grams of gold which is a lot for a vintage piece. It also
carries a Hamilton 747 American movement which was one of their best.
Case #S644435. Serial #Y26481. Completely gone over by Wayne and in
superb condition, almost like new. In my opinion this is the finest
American made wristwatch ever produced, prior to 1969 when the last
company died. Installed is one of the finest American Alligator straps
we carry, a DeBeer Paris turned edge hand made in black with a $160
retail value. Comes with a one year service guarantee. If it ever needs
service, I'll do it for free. Also comes with a period Hamilton Bakelite
box in perfect condition, a $75 value. Measures 28.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 42 mm long x 8 mm thick.

Beautiful 10k Solid Gold Hamilton Masterpiece Thin-o-matic
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. Solid yellow gold with a nicely done
inscription on the back. All one piece. No screw on or snap on back, or
bezel. Drop the movement in through the front, install the crystal, stem
and crown and your done. Once worn with a bracelet and we can see four
tiny bracelet end piece marks on the inside of the lugs. Otherwise, like
new. Original silvered dial with solid gold markers. Fully self winding
Hamilton Caliber 623 automatic movement has been completely checked out
by Wayne the watchmaker and regulated. Signed Hamilton crown. New Hadley
Roma strap. Measures 33.8 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Title:
Good Sized SS Hamilton Automatic
AS FOUND
Description: VERYGOOD condition.
Swiss made with a nice ETA automatic movement, original tritium silvered
dial, faceted acrylic crystal, screw on waterproof back and signed
crown. From my cabinets of old stock saved for many years this steel
case does have lots of nicks and scratches but runs great, keeping good
time. At this price point we simply can't afford to put $75 into a $100
watch for service so I rarely sell them in this price range as they have
to be running properly with no problems. The red second hand is cool. A
nice new lizard skin strap is attached. Measures 36 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Title: Hard to Find
Hamilton Pan Europe
Serviced
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. These are pretty rare watches made at the
end of the mechanical watch peak and very thick with a lot of nice
touches to the design. Cool Pegasus on the back with a reference
#64058-3. Water proof at the
time and anti-magnetic and shock resistant. Signed, slightly recessed
crown is original also. Super sweet original blue and white dial. The
finish of the case is marred with light scuffs and scratches but this type
of watch is difficult to refurbish with that deep radial brushed bezel
and sides. Also
has the original crystal which Harlan the watchmaker has buffed up a bit
to remove scuffs. He has also fully serviced, oiled and timed the
high grade automatic movement. Made in the 1960's this was probably worn a
few
years and then put away. It came out of an estate years ago and I've
just gotten it out and had it serviced. A slightly used Caiman croc
strap is on it because of the nice color and how it matches but call if
you want something else. This is a Swiss made vintage automatic. Measures 35 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 39 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Title: Beautiful 14k
Yellow Gold Hamilton Keith
Serviced
Description:
NEARMINT condition. Property of a meticulous collector. I am
calling this near mint even though the silvered dial has been
refinished. It is a good job, has 18k solid gold Arabic applied numerals
and the rest of the watch is just gorgeous overall. Original and perfect
slightly domed glass crystal, near mint solid gold case and immaculate,
recently serviced 19j Hamilton Masterpiece Caliber 982. Click on the
image to the left for more photos. A new DeBeer turned edge genuine
crocodile strap with a gold plated deployant buckle is attached. It
comes in the correct Bakelite Hamilton box for this model although the
insert is missing. The boxes are $50-$75 when you can find them. Great
timekeeper and one of the best American made hand wind ever produced.
The gorgeous movement rivals Swiss high end stuff in my opinion. Measures 21
mm wide (not including the crown) x 34.5 mm long x 8 mm thick.

Really Sharp WGF Hamilton w/Awesome Original Dial
Serviced
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. 1930's gold filled watches without a lot of
wear are really hard to find. This one is not like new but as you can
see, the dial is really sharp with all of the old lum still intact on
the Arabic numerals. We have replaced the hands so they are not original
(would another dealer disclose this info?) and the crown is newer also.
Thin glass crystal is perfect. Case is type not water or dust resistant
with its snap on back but is in pretty darn good condition and has the
original black background on the deeply engraved sides. This is a fairly
large watch for the genre or even for any square or tank style vintage
wrist watch. Large vintage watches are kind of rare. The American made
Hamilton Cal. 987-E 17 jewel movement has been fully serviced, oiled
and timed by Wayne and keeps good time. A brand new dark brown
Hadley Roma leather strap is attached. Measures 28 mm wide (not
including the crown) x 34 mm long x 9 mm thick.

Rare Coral 19j Hamilton Ross, Circa late 1930's
Serviced
Description:
GOOD condition. Very hard to find watch with its
original glass crystal, dial, case and movement. We have added a new,
easy to grip pink crown which matches very well. Only rated good because
of the aged original dial, aged original hands and scuffed original
glass crystal. Mostly though because of the case which has quite a bit
of wear on the bottom corners. The beautiful high grade American made
Hamilton Caliber 982 runs great and has been fully serviced, oiled
and timed by our watchmaker. Measures 24 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 36 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Nice Hamilton w/Original Glass Crystal and Period Strap
Mechanic's Special
Description:
GOOD condition. Nice old watch in its original
condition. Faded silver dial with solid gold numerals and makers.
Beautiful American made Hamilton Caliber 752 runs great and keeps good
time. It needs a little tweak to stop rattling in the case and maybe a
dial refinish and the crystal is scratched too. I believe this is the
"Austin". About 1950. Original old pig skin strap is real nice. Measures 24 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 37 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Title:
Extra Nice Large 1930's Hamilton Gladstone
Serviced
Description: EXCELLENT condition. One of my favorite vintage watches of
all time simply because of size. Most watches with rectangular or tank
shapes are much smaller. And the older they are the more likely it is
that the size will be small. Our bodies and our wrists were smaller on
average back then. Hunger stunts growth and conversely the abundance of
food stimulates it. So, this type or shape of watch in this
size is rare. Finding one in really nice condition is rare also. This
piece is white gold filled with a snap back and snap on bezel. The dial
has been refinished and one if the best jobs I've seen. Our watchmaker
found new old stock hands which match the color of the numbers
perfectly. He also fully serviced, oiled and timed the Caliber
987F hand wound American made movement and that comes with a one year
service warranty. There is an inscription on the back which brings me to
the final point/s of interest. It is dated 1930 and according to most
literature and "common knowledge" this model was not introduced until
1931. A real mystery, eh? In truth, our base of knowledge is limited
when it comes to exact dates or "facts". Serial number dating and other
bits of info written in books can be used for general purposes and are
not expected to be 100% factual. The correct 987F movement inside
has a 4.180 million serial number which according to serial number dates
from books makes this a movement from 1940. Could be that it was
replaced 10 years after the watch was given as a gift or there could be
some other explanation. Just some watch food/trivia for thought. The
black lizard strap is signed Hamilton and most likely comes from a
modern Hamilton time piece. We purchased this watch from a collector
with the strap attached. Measures 27 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 39 mm long x 10 mm thick.

well. New old stock, mint condition watches with original packaging are

Very Nice Hamilton Automatic Date
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. This is one of the nicest vintage
affordable automatics we have had recently. It is very attractive with
an original silvered dial, gold plated middle body and sturdy slotted
screw on back. If you look closely you can see a faint mark or scratch
near the 8, otherwise it is mint. Swiss made automatic movement keeps
good time but no photo as the nice back is on very tight and I don't
want to risk scratching it. Old style quick set works by moving the hour
hand past midnight then back past nine and repeat. Looks really sharp in
person. For some reason the photos just look OK. A nice new
Hadley Roma genuine lizard skin 16 mm
strap is attached, a $25 value. Measures 34.5 mm wide (not including the

Excellent 22 Jewel Hamilton
Description:
GOOD/VERYGOOD condition. Not sure which model this is but it
looks like a "Wilson" except it has 22 jewels instead of 17 which the
"book" has it as. Maybe someone will keep me straight with an e-mail.
Really nice unbuffed condition. No wear through of the yellow gold
filled case but it does have scuffs and one tiny ding on the side
opposite the signed Hamilton crown. I like this watch more than the
average Hamilton tank because of the larger size and magnificent shock
protected, adjusted high grade movement. Take a look by clicking on the
image to the left. By this time (mid to late 1950's) Hamilton was at the
top of it's game producing finely finished movements lasting for decades
if not centuries. Too bad they are no more (American made movements).
This watch has its original glass crystal, sterling silver dial and 14k
gold markers. The dial is perfect. The crystal has a couple of tiny
nicks around the 11 and 12 area. A brand new
Hadley Roma padded oil tan strap in attached. Measures 27 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 38 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Title:
Very Rare Long Curved 1930's Hamilton Linwood
Description:
GOOD condition. Hard to find and because of the extreme
shape nearly impossible to find without wear on the back corners. I
would not be shy about asking double if ours was without wear. Good deal
of it seen on the back edges of the long elegant curved and step sided
yellow gold filled case. Domed and curved dial is sterling silver and
has solid 18k gold markers (most Hamilton's have a silver dial with gold
markers). It is real sweet and has a star at 6. The crystal has some
crazing and there is an inscription on the back. Mint condition original
era pig skin strap could be original as these are thin lug widths and
hard to find. The old buckle is not signed and I can't read the strap
signature. Runs great with Hamilton's sturdy 17j Caliber 980 hand wound
American made movement. Measures 22 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 44 mm long x 10 mm thick.

at three and 12 hour counter at six. Some funny dings on the original

Nice Hamilton Boulton w/Period Strap and
Signed Buckle
Description:
VERYGOOD/GOOD condition. From the original owner. Aged dial is silver
(made of silver, typical of many Hammy dials) with gold markers. Gold
filled case is nice and "glom'ed" shut from years of never being opened.
This is a nice natural water and dust proof condition. Formed case
watches are not airtight, mostly from the stem area. Excellent case
condition, almost nearmint upon further examination. Original crown and
glass crystal (somewhat rare). Pigskin strap is exactly the kind of
strap used/sold with the watch and appears to be unmarked but the buckle
is signed. Probably contains Hamilton's 19j Caliber 982 (typical for
this model). It runs good and according to our timing machine is about
15-30 seconds slow per 24hrs. Measures 23 mm wide (not including the

Big Automatic Hamilton Dive Watch
Description:
GOOD condition. In 15 years of collecting I have not seen
one Hamilton like this. It is heavy steel with a screw down crown.
The bakelite bezel has nicks and one crack which is at 47 minutes. The
case has not been buffed and appears to have been used by a working
diver. The one piece nylon strap is well worn and molded to the watch as
if it was used quite a bit. The dial has in part been refinished and
maybe in whole. The red indices are exaggerated and very bright as are
the hands. This has an automatic (probably ETA) movement with a quick
set day and date. The heavy screw back says tested to 10 atms or 330
feet and it is marked Hamilton. It is running fine and keeping good
time. Measures 40 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 45 mm long x 15 mm thick.

of wear on the case and some age seen on the original painted metal

of age. The tri-part case has nice engraving on the bezel and middle
body. The hands are original but have been refilled with new material.

fitted, dented back. Fully signed with 48 diamonds. Original black cord

strap with gold attachments). Slightly scuffed original glass
crystal. This piece is a large size for a ladies watch and looks great

Rare Hamilton Canteen or Bu-Ships Military
Issue Waterproof Antique
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. One
of the rarest vintage military watches ever made. Issue watches were
supposed to be turned in after duty so few survived for collectors. The
condition is good and there are no scratches on the 10-sided hex back.
It screws in place and I have not opened it for movement info for fear
of a scuff. It should have a hack set Caliber 987S according to Ziggy
(Z.M. Wesolowski, A Concise Guide To Military Timepieces). This watch
does hack and is keeping excellent time, showing less than 20 seconds
error per day according to the timing machine. Hamilton was the first
manufacturer to supply a diver’s watch to our Naval Combat Demolition
Teams in the early 1940's. They worked with the Navy's construction
battalions or Sea Bees clearing beach approaches of mines and other
obstacles. These teams were later re-named Underwater Demolition Teams
or UDTs. Hamilton developed this special watch with a cap, which screws
down over the winding stem and a thick glass crystal, which is soldered
into place. You can still see the solder on this crystal by clicking on
the picture to the left where the close up photos are. The dial is
in perfect condition and after close examination may be refinished. I
believe the hands are original. The dark black Hamilton signature is
characteristic of a frogman watch (same as the Elgin model) and can be
seen in the right light just under the center pinion. It is keeping very
good time and is on a modern period canvas strap like those from the
era. Measures 32 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40 mm long x 13 mm thick.

opinion. Looks pretty sharp but originally would have had lum in the
Arabic numerals. Good hands. Some wear on the lugs of the gold plated
case with steel back which is held in place with screws. The lines you
see on the back of the lugs are part of the formed case
manufacturing process. Runs fine and a bit unique with a very nice new
Hadley Roma strap with a gold plated over steel buckle. Measures 23.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 35 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Title:
Nearmint SS Black Dial 2 Reg. Helbros
Chronograph
Description: NEARMINT condition. One of the nicest versions of this genre I
have seen recently. Most often this type (1940's flat pusher snap back
chronograph) is found in gold plate or chrome plated base metal. This
watch is all steel
and formerly new old stock condition. I am calling it nearmint because
of some faint scuffs on the back and a couple of nicks, one on the bezel
at 10. All original including the box. The shiny Swiss made Helbros
Caliber 243 chronograph movement has 17 jewels and looks to me like it
was serviced once in the recent past. It runs and keeps good time and
all of the chronograph functions work perfectly. The small subsidiary
dial at 3 counts up to 30 minutes while the long center second hand
starts and stops for timing with the button at two. Reset with the other
button at 4. It should go without saying that
the original strap for this watch would be a real find as leather does
not survive 60 years quite like steel. Strap seen is a brand new Hadley
Roma black
leather strap with a stainless steel buckle. Measures 36 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 43 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Nice 1940's Helbros w/Box
Description: A cool little watch in a Helbros box
although it may not be original. I say that because I think the retail

probably qualifies as near mint except for the dial which shows a tiny
bit of age. Runs great with a Swiss made 17 jewel hand wound

Hadley Roma leather strap. Measures 28 mm wide (not

New Old Stock Stainless Steel Helbros
Triple Date w/Box
Description:
PRISTINE MINT condition. Found in the back room of a retiring
jeweler's shop this fantastic old time piece is perfect in every way. As
a NOS piece we can be assured that every part is original including the
crown, crystal, lizard skin strap and buckle. This piece also has its
original hang tag and a box from the same store which may or may not be
original. The retiring jeweler kept the watch out of the box and could
not recall which box was original for it. The dial is a real treat with
its blue day of the month chapter. Many watches of this type were either
gold filled, gold plated with steel backs or chrome plated with steel
backs. Entirely made of steel the three part case has a polished bezel,
brushed middle body and part brushed and part polished (along the edge)
snap on back. It runs and functions exactly as it should. The day of the
week (Wed in photo) only changes as the hour hand passes midnight. The
date pointer also changes as the hour hand passes mid night and is
rapidly changed with the tiny push piece on the side of the case, below
the crown. The month window is rapidly changed with the push piece on
the side of the case above the crown. Watches of this kind are commonly
held by astute collectors and rarely resold. One caveat. Having never
had the back removed this piece has also never been serviced. Measures 31.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 39 mm long x 11 mm thick.

Title: Rare Heuer
Carrera Abercrombie and Fitch Automatic
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Really nice time piece with a 99%perfect
original blue dial and rare Caliber 12 micro-rotor automatic chronograph
movement. The Cal. 11 was the world's first automatic chronograph. We
don't see it or the 12 very often at all. It is especially nice to have
a private label dial with the Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (a high end
retailer) notation. Minor scuffs and nicks and one ding on the signed
crown. Heavy signed slotted screw back. The outer tachymeter track is
mostly gone or slipped out of alignment (just the printing) as this was
made with a decal on the white portion. It is the only part of the watch
which doesn't look real nice. Runs great and keeps good time. Some
luminescent material is missing from the original hands. A great find

Rare Early Round Pusher Steel Heuer Chronograph
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. This is a real sweet medium to small round
Swiss made chronograph (timer and time keeper). Original dial (signed
made in switzerland on the bottom) , hands, case, pushers, movement and
crown. Ed. Heuer signed everywhere including the desirable 17j shock
protected Valjoux 23 hand wound movement which runs great. Slightly
different than the run of the mill 2 register chronograph this watch has
tiny pushers and larger than normal sub dials. A screw on back and round
pushers keep it drier and cleaner then chronographs with snap backs and
round or oval pushers. The long center second hand is actually the 60
second chronograph timer and the subsidiary dial at 3 keeps track of up
to 30 minutes. Normal seconds appear in the sub dial at 9. I believe the
price is a bit low but the dial is white and aged so...you decide. Measures 34 mm wide (not including the

Rare Heuer Up Down Chronograph
Description: EXCELLENT condition. You really have to see this watch in person
to appreciate it's unique style and beauty. This is a three part case
with a gold plated bezel and middle body. There are a few spots of
plating loss on the bezel but they are fairly small. Overall the middle
body and bezel rate about 75% and look more like nearmint in person. The
dial is superb and the previous owner claimed it was original but I
believe it was refinished very nicely sometime long ago. It does say
"made in switzerland" at the very bottom. The oversized sub-dials are
striking and unusual. Normal seconds at six, 30 minute counter at
twelve. The steel back is fully signed and snaps in place. It fits
perfectly but a flat pusher chronograph is not a water or dust resistant
vintage watch. The flat pushers and crown are original and there is some
wear/pitting on the end of the crown. This has an early type of white
(steel or german silver) mono-metallic screw balance with a nickel/iron
hairspring opposed to blue carbon steel hairsprings on later watches. The genuine lizard skin strap is
original to the era, or close. 1940's triple signed (Ed. Heuer on
movement) up down chronograph in perfect running condition and keeping
good time. Measures 33.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40 mm long x 14 mm thick.

VERYGOOD condition. Very attractive although small watch
circa 1930 or so. White gold filled case has three pieces. A snap on
back, middle body and a snap on bezel where the crystal resides. It is
in nice condition and the back fits well but it also has a small ding in
it. The crystal is glass. The dial looks like a nice refinish to me. A
couple of special features that I noticed about this model is the hand
engraved sides of the middle body and the fancy and correct 17j Illinois
movement. A tad bit more finish and you might wonder if IWC or Patek
made it with the Swiss style open finger bridges. It has raised cupped
jewel settings which are held in place with screws, a solid gold train
(wheels), a capped balance staff and a diamond capped escape wheel
pinion. Measures 28 mm wide (not including the

Rare 1928 Two Tone WGF/YGF Illinois Major
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Rare case style with the middle body yellow
gold filled and the snap on engraved bezel and back white gold filled
material. Learn about
gold filled cases
<HERE>. Some wear on the tips of the lugs which you can
see as darker base metal (usually brass). Not as noticeable to the naked
eye as these close-up photos show. Caught myself staring at it, turning
it over and realized that it is almost near mint at a foot away from my
eyes. The dial was refinished previously with a striking salmon/copper
and yellow exploding numeral motif common and rare for this Major, Circa
1928. Check out the movement by clicking on the photo to the left for
the close-ups. Gorgeous and in great shape too according to Wayne the
watchmaker who has checked it over and regulated it for accuracy. It has
nice raised jewel settings held in place with screws, cross hatch
demaskeening, patent regulator, 17 jewels, gold wheel train, bi-metallic
split screw balance and unbelievable condition. If you know anything
about Illinois watches, then you know that finding one with a nearmint
movement is pretty tough. No scratches, scuffs, burr marks on screw
heads or washout seen. Except for the wear on the lug tips this watch is
in fine condition. Glass crystal and perfect fitting bezel and back. No
sign of major age on the white gold filled back. This is a striking
watch on the wrist and I don't think you will see another one anytime
soon. A brand new Hadley Roma dark brown dress strap is attached. Measures 31

Extra Nice WGF Illinois Beau Gest
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Really nice larger watch from the early
1930's or earlier. The three piece white gold filled case has no wear
through and the snap on back like we see on many wristwatches of this
age but looking with a loupe I do see some on the two lugs at 11 and 12.
The nice looking Illinois 601 movement runs but is slow and probably
needs service. It has 21 jewels and like most Illinois movements is very
attractive with raised jewel settings which are held in place with
screws. In addition the bridge plates are Swiss style and more
attractive with Geneva strips (demaskeening) than many other American
made movements. Perfect dial has gold leaf Arabic numerals and I think
is original but it could be refinished as the quality is too good for me
to tell for sure. The crystal is beveled glass which is rare in any
wristwatch. We'll service and give a one year warranty for an additional
$75. The strap is generic so choose one you like from our

crown) x 38 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Excellent WGF Illinois Medalist

Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Really sharp looking watch from about
1929/30 in a nice original three piece white gold filled snap back case,
model 193 and fantastic dial. I wish I could say it is original as there
is a little aging seen outside the 5, but I think it is an older, very
nice refinish. In other words, it was repainted some time ago. Extra
nice thick beveled glass crystal adds authenticity to the age as that is
the type they would have had way back then. The hand wound American made
Illinois 12/0 size movement is a grade 207 and has been fully
serviced, oiled and timed by our watchmaker. He also put a new
mainspring in. There are some little tiny wear points on the back
corners and watches this old were not made for water or dust resistance.

Very Rare and Large WGF Illinois Viking
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. In my opinion this is one of the models
an Illinois collector should want. It is one of the biggest and most
attractive with distinctive molded bezel, thick glass crystal and
luminous radium dial and hands. Not a lot of wear like we see on almost
all Illinois watches in the market place these days. The original dial
looks much better in person as our close-up photos seem to enlarge
spotty areas. The white gold filled models are a bit rarer than ygf
watches and they are also hardier. The correct 17 jewel Illinois
American made movement is in nice shape but has a bit of corrosion on
the mainspring wheel. This 1929 art deco wrist watch runs fine and keeps
good time. It has been fitted with a Hadley Roma genuine lizard skin
strap with a stainless steel buckle to match the color of the head. Measures 31 mm wide (not including the

Rare Illinois Major, Circa 1920's
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. What a beautiful large watch from the
early 20th century. The three piece case is white gold filled and in
good shape, especially for Illinois watches which because of their age
often have well worn cases. This model is one of the largest for the
genre and in wonderful overall condition with a gorgeous dial. Not sure
if it is an original or an old refinish, probably the latter but if you
look closely at the hands you will see that they are quite old with
cracking in the luminescent material which at this time in history would
have to be radium. I think that there is a good chance that the dial is
original, which would make this price very low. I just saw a Major
online with a refinished dial priced at $895! The attractive hand wound
American made Illinois movement has 17 jewels, solid gold train (wheels)
no corrosion, beautiful demaskeening/movement decoration, raised jewel
settings and keeps good time. It dates to 1928 which is the first year
this model was introduced. The crystal is perfect. So is the crown. A
brand new Hadley Roma lizard skin strap is attached and has a stainless
steel buckle to match the white gold filled case. Measures 31 mm wide (not including the

Gold Filled Cut Corner Illinois w/New Old
Stock Dial

Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Sold to a friend of mine as an original new
old stock dial by the Illinois expert and author "FF" who has the nice
new hardback about Illinois wristwatches out. For the most part we avoid
buying or selling "put-together" watches but this type of thing is hard
to avoid amongst the NAWCC dealers at the national watch shows. As long
as we are all aware the dial has been added later and its condition is
mint or new, from old stock. It is an original Illinois dial meant for
this case and design. The case and gorgeous "Aristocrat" hand
wound movement are in average condition with considerable case
wear-through to nickel (gold filled outer shell has worn down so the
white metal shows through) on the back and fitting together just OK.

bracelet. The Illinois movement is one of their nicest with raised jewel
settings a great looking overall appearance. It has 17 jewels and is the
fourth model or 3/0 size with a serial number of 5167454. I am guessing
this is a salesman's sample and of course, fairly rare. Illinois watches

Gorgeous Large 18k IWC Automatic
Serviced
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Way better original dial in person than our
super close-up photos show. I am looking at it now at 14 inches from my
face and can't see the little dark spots that are so visible in our photos. Just looks
evenly aged and lightly tan in color. Some buffing done on the case and
recently serviced by the previous owner IWC Caliber 852 has a cool
patented winding system just like this watch,
has been fully serviced by the previous owner. Wayne took a look and
proclaimed it to be real pretty and clean and running strong, keeping
good time. A little bit of research reveals that IWC only had a handful
of "in-house" automatic movements, starting in 1950 with the Caliber 81.
Then the improved Caliber 85 in the same year and soon after the most
efficient and robust, the Caliber 852 which is what this carries. That
model was used for years and had a date mechanism added later (Caliber
8521) and also was used in the first Engineers. It wasn't until 1958
that they updated to another with a slight improvement, the Caliber
853/8531 date. Some other features besides the Pellaton winding system
are 21 jewels, a jeweled bi-directional rotor, a self compensating
Breguet hairspring on the Glucydur two spoke screw balance, Incabloc
protects the balance staff from shock, 19,800 bph or beats per hour and
a 46 hour power reserve/mainspring. The case is signed as is the crown with the IWC fish. This
watch is all original, somewhat rare and should be considered an
heirloom multi-generational time piece which can be passed from the old
to the new, for ever. I like this
DeBeer $160 American Alligator skin strap which can be seen in the
photos but we can put whatever you prefer if you don't like it. Measures 34.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 44 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Beautiful IWC Caliber 88 w/Archive Paper, Circa 1951

Superficial scuffs only. Unsigned crown. Gorgeous hand wound in-house Caliber 88

Steel IWC Caliber 403 Hand Wind on Steel Bracelet
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. Sweet timepiece from the mid 1970's and
one of the remaining affordable genres from IWC as every other model
they sell, modern or vintage is VERY expensive. Maybe underpriced here
but I can make money at this price so I am happy. Really in superb shape
with a few faint scuffs on the back. Mint original dial and signed
integral bracelet. Integral means permanently attached. Very smooth
feeling nice on the wrist, fitting any size. It fits my 7 and 1/2 inch
wrist with quite a bit of slack. Just slide the end of the bracelet
further into the clasp to make it smaller, no mechanical adjustment
necessary. The beautiful Caliber 403 IWC hand wound movement keeps
excellent time. It comes with a cool archive from IWC which notates the
reference number of this model as #2403 and as having been sold in 1975. Measures 33.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 37.5 mm long x 9 mm thick.

Rare Vintage IWC Mark X, British Military
Issue
Serviced
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. One of the worlds most important military
issue timepieces from one of the worlds most important manufacturers.
Superb original condition including the dial. Click on the image to the
left for close-ups. The fantastic IWC Caliber 83 hound wound movement
has been fully serviced, oiled and timed and is one of the most
beautiful watch movements ever made. This is a hand wound watch from WW
II. It was issued to ground troops in the early part of 1945. Only six
thousand examples were made starting with case number 1,131,001. This is
the 1525th Mark X made according to its case number. Our research
indicates all parts except the crown, crystal and gaskets are original
to one another and to this watch. We have verified these details through
inspection as IWC numbered each bridge part with the last three digits
of the movement serial number. This is a two part steel case with a snap
on back (original), satin middle body and polished bezel. There are some
nicks on this portion of the watch (bezel). It has fixed (spring) bars
and an open end or wire lug German made Jurgens strap with rivets is
included. It cannot be understated how nice this completely original
dial is. Our poor photography does not show its virtues very well. Measures 35 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 42.5 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Large Vintage Steel IWC Ingenieur, Circa
1962
Description:
NEARMINT condition. Completely original in all details.
Un-buffed or polished with all surfaces in original finish. Some light
tool marks on the slotted back. Some faint scuffs here and there on the
bezel and edge of the lugs. I would call the case 97% perfect. 1% age
can be seen on the amazing silvered dial or 99% perfect. The movement
has not had a single screw driver on it and is a real beauty. Click on
the image to the left for some sweet close up shots of everything.
Fully designed and made "in house" the IWC Caliber 8531 was first
introduced in 1959. Some of this famous movement's attributes include a
screw (gold) balance with special equalizing screws on both spokes, a
gold pallet fork, a ruby bearing central rotor which combined eccentric
winding with double clicks in its Pellaton winding system (notice these
long arms/clicks in our close up photo, third from the bottom which are
made of beryllium bronze and have tarnished) 21 jewels, 45 hours of
mainspring time, a self compensating Breguet hairspring, Incabloc shock
resistance and IWC's most famous innovation, the soft
anti-magnetic metal lining which makes this watch a bit thicker along
with the extra thick Caliber. Featured with a large photo in the book
"Wristwatches" and the caption "One of the best movement's ever produced
in Switzerland". Fitted with our finest grade American
Alligator strap ($100 value). Call if you want this watch. It is
expensive but unique in its condition. Measures 36.5 mm wide (not including the

Description:
GOOD/VERYGOOD condition. Hard to find early (dates to 1938) wire lug
yellow gold IWC with Caliber 83 hand wound movement. It has been
fully serviced, oiled and timed and runs great. Some normal signs of
wear for a 70 year old timepiece. In my opinion the black dial was
professionally refinished some time in the past. It does say Swiss made
at the bottom and the quality is good but...we'll call it refinished.
Some nicks and case opening marks seen in the larger photos. These look
a lot larger in the super close-up photos. They are not very noticeable
to the naked eye. Fully marked case and movement. Case number dating
corresponds to the date of the movement. The crown is not original. Measures 30 mm wide (not including the

Memovox (Alarm)
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. We were lucky to buy this watch at a

undervalued in my opinion. This nice watch has a two piece signed steel
friction fit case, an average refinished (older) dial and a well running
LeCoultre P489/1 Swiss made movement. One other thing. Jaeger LeCoultre
watches get better prices than LeCoultre watches. I am not sure why

Title: Beautiful 1940's
Jaeger LeCoultre Hand Wind
Description: EXCELLENT condition. Superb condition. Original unbuffed finish. Original period like new
gray nylon short strap. Original dial. Steel. Fully signed. This is a
beautiful watch in a Swiss made three piece, snap back, snap on bezel
case with its original part polished part satin finish and fantastic
original dial with a light to medium colored tan. Was most certainly
white, eggshell, silvered or beige. The stylized Arabic numerals are
probably made of radium infused luminescent material as are the hands
(inside). Only one small part down around the 4 didn't age to the same
degree of brown color. It is a bit lighter there. Then the movement is
just to die for. Just look at that gorgeous golden/gilt movement (P475).
JLC has in-house movements and to this day is known as one of the best
makers in the world. In my opinion, they rank on a 2nd tier, behind only
Patek with a handful of topnotch makers like AP, Breguet, IWC and
Vacheron. Rolex and Omega fall into a third tier for me as a more mass
produced makers. I think Wayne serviced this but I can't find the little
note paper he makes with all of the movement info. We'll take care of
you if it has a problem of any kind. This is common knowledge for our
large base of clientele. Measures 34 mm wide (not including the

Description:
EXCELLENT condition. Boy, this is a real honey and the only thing
not perfect about it is that the size is mid-sized, not larger like this
one we just sold recently...click
here. Housed in a signed, three piece steel case which has been
lightly buffed but still shows much of the original brushed finish seen
on the sides of the middle body, for example. No corrosion or rust which
we see on older steel watches often. Easy to grip crown is a replacement
as is the acrylic crystal. Wayne has also fully serviced, oiled and
timed the LeCoultre in-house Caliber 450/3A hand winding movement
and it is a real stunner. I should've taken a pic of it before he sealed
it up. It comes with a rare one year warranty which is sweet for such an
old watch. Pick your own nice Hadley Roma
or other strap from our accessories page if you don't like the Gator
style in light brown seen in the photos but it goes with this fantastic
original tan military style dial really well. Speaking of the dial, this
one is what I look for in vintage, evenly aged original dials. Lots of
character in that it has aged and darkened but is almost un-used or
damaged in any way, including the original hands. There is a little dark
smudging or spotting between the 15 and 16 and just outside the 3 and
4pm radium Arabic numerals. I'll be sorry to see this fantastic example
of a 1940's LeCoultre go. Measures 31 mm wide (not including the

Early 20th Century Ladies LeCoultre/Blancpain Wristlet w/Hot Dog Expansion
Bracelet

Description:
EXCELLENT condition. Sweet! Hard to find early LeCoultre
watches of any kind really. This one is probably almost 100 years old
and as you can see it once was a pendant watch or was made to be BOTH a
pendant and a wrist watch as men were not wearing watches on their
wrists at that time (for the most part). Ladies led the way with the
trend. Hot dog expansion bracelets are named because of the shape of
each link. This one is gold filled and in perfect condition, matching
the condition of the head of this old watch which is always good and
tells us that they are probably original to one another. Signed A.
LeCoultre and E. Blancpain Fils on the hand wound Caliber 40 movement
which has been fully serviced, oiled and timed. The mainspring

1950's Steel LeCoultre Bumper Wind Automatic
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. Many vintage LeCoultre watches on the
US market today are cased in American made cases. This mid 50's water
and dust proof (at the time) steel screw back case is Swiss made and in
nearmint condition. The brushed sides and satin brushed flat back
contrast nicely with the polished bezel, lug tops and slanted portion of
the back. Some light superficial scuffs are visible with magnification.
The dial may have been freshened up way back in the past but it looks
original to me with the darkly aged original hands having their original
lum in the center which matches the color of the aged luminescent
dots in front of each marker and swiss at the bottom. The second
generation LeCoultre in-house bumper wind Cal. K812 movement is working
wonderfully, keeping good time and features 17 jewels, a Glucydur screw
balance (19,800 bph) with Kif shock resistance and a self compensating
hairspring. LeCoultre returned to making hammer or bumper wind movements
after they made their first rotor wind the Cal. 493, in 1951 because of
their sturdiness and ability to accept additional features or
complications keeping a relatively flat dimension. Comes in a beautiful
vintage LeCoultre inner and outer box with LeCoultre fancy paper

Screw back, round pusher chronographs are the best as they keep water
and dust out. The little dot at 12 on the bezel is half missing but
the rest of the watch is almost perfect. It is really large for this
type and very fun to wear with the colored yachting dial. We have

British Military Issue Lemania HS-9 One Button Chronograph
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Sweet all original military issue
chronograph. We've re-filled the original hands otherwise watch is in
lightly buffed all original condition. Polished slotted screw back
properly marked with military nomenclature and a satin or brushed finish
middle body. Rare original dial has most of the lum dots/squares and
luminescent Arabic numerals in good shape. Some have degraded (lum dots
at 4 and 11 for instance). Many dealers show a watch like this...click
here, one we've sold a few years ago and call the perfect
re-finished dial
original. Original dials probably add 30% to the value especially for
rare models. This is a
large heavily cased military watch from the late 1950's or early 60's. Our
watchmaker has examined the 17 jewel Lemania model # 15CHT, 15 ligne
hand wound chronograph movement and it is in fantastic condition showing
only moderate
use. See the close-up photos. Recommended as an undervalued double
genre collectable. We've attached a fantastic vintage heavy leather cuff
strap from my personal collection. If you don't like it we can try some
other straps but wire or fixed lug watches will only take a few types of
special straps. Measures 38.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 45 mm long x 14 mm thick.

Beautiful Lemania One Button Military
Issue Chronograph
Description:
NEARMINT condition. Except for a couple of very small nicks this
piece is perfect. It has been professionally buffed in its past. The
heavy six slotted screw back is unsigned but did have issue or ordinance
marks at one time. If you hold it under the right light the buffed out
spots are visible. I am guessing this was Australian Royal Navy, South
African Air force or British Aviators. Era 1965 or so. It is not
uncommon to find issue watches of this caliber with missing or scratched
out marks. Service men were expected to return their watches after their
duty. The Lemania (makers mark under the balance) Caliber 2210 is very
clean and works perfectly, keeping very good time. The dial is sweet and
perfect although it has been professionally refinished and does say "swiss"
at the bottom. The hands have also been re-lumed and painted but they
are correct. The dial is also correct and matches British RAF, South
African and Australian Royal Navy issue watches that we have seen. This
watch has fixed wire lugs and is attached to a new NATO style nylon
strap. Measures 38 mm wide (not including the

Title: Rare Formed

Description:
GOOD condition. Really rare steel formed case design and
similar to some very expensive brands from the time. Made in the late

but not signed Longines. See our close-up photos by clicking on the

sweaty while wearing it. The gorgeous Longines Caliber 25.17 Swiss made

a good company in Canada and it looks really sharp. A new slightly domed

Beautiful Longines Allguard Automatic
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. This is one of my favorite watches of all

grade automatics, and it is from the 50's which is my favorite decade
for vintage. The robin egg blue dial has been refinished and looks nice,
not bad at all (I'm not a big fan of re-finished dials). After market
crown has been added recently and Wayne has also added a new acrylic
crystal, gone through it for problems or dirt and regulated it. The
Longines in-house Caliber 19AS early automatic (about 1954) looks just
like this Allguard's movement,

Very Cool 1940's Stainless Steel Longines
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. I love this watch. We often find the
type from this era by Longines but in a real small size, about 30 mm.
This is quite a bit larger. The hand wound Longines Caliber 10L dates to
1942 and is real gorgeous to view. It is a higher grade center second
which was a nice modification to have back during that time (opposed to
subsidiary seconds). The screw on back is numbered and signed but does
have some tool marks or scratches. The case has been buffed and a satin
finish re-applied by our watchmaker who has also gone through the
movement looking for problems. He regulated it/timed it and added a new
acrylic crystal. The crown is large and easy to grip. It could be the
original. I believe the dial has been refinished but it has been a long

properly signed. Looks better in person but runs great and a very nice
watch for the money. We have installed a new black pigskin open ended

Beautiful 14k Longines Automatic w/Sub
Seconds Dial
Description: VERYGOOD condition.
Nice watch which is way undervalued in today's vintage watch market. A
nice Omega Seamaster from this era but in steel can sell for double this
price. This signed Longines watch case is made of solid 14k yellow gold,
is in very good condition with some light nicks. It is a bowl shape with
no removable back. It has been buffed and the sand marks on the raised
portion of the back are not original. We can buff that smooth if you
like. Another virtue is the very nice and collectable in-house Longines
Caliber 19A which incorporates eccentric winding, shock protection and
was invented in 1952. This movement was made in about 1960 and it
has been checked out completely by our watchmaker. The original dial is
gorgeous and nearmint easily. Original signed crown. A new Hadley Roma
brown leather strap with a gold plated over steel buckle is attached. Measures 33.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40 mm long x mm thick.

Rare Oversized Stainless Steel Longines,
Circa 1947
Serviced
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. One of the coolest vintage Longines
wristwatches I have seen. There are several obvious differences, which
make it special. The size is over large and the case material, for a
dress watch is out of the ordinary. In addition, the design is extra
nice with the long fancy lugs and finally the condition. I have it
graded as
EXCELLENT but it is obvious that this piece was not sold or worn,
but passed around at a watch show or two with some scuffs and a couple
of nicks only. No wear on the watch or the original strap to speak of.
The piece has its original glass crystal as well. A caveat is the
refinished dial and the painted hands. Original signed crown. Signed
snap back, which is very tight. The hand wound Longines Caliber 12.68Z
has some corrosion as seen in the close-up photo (click on the small
image to the left for the close-ups) but it has been fully serviced,
oiled and timed and it is keeping very good time showing less than
15 seconds daily positional error according to our timing machine. Steel
dress watches of this size and from this period are scarce and highly
collectable. Measures 34 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 43 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Stainless Steel 24j Longines Conquest "Turler"

A high grade watch which was designed to
compete with the Omega Constellation. The signed screw back case rates
about 85-90% with a tool mark or two and a scratch. You can see that the
green enamel on the solid gold emblem is still intact with a little wear around the edges.
The original dial is about 90% with a little darkening overall. Developed in 1958, this caliber
(#291) is the
successor to the lower end 19AS. The 291 had an
improvement using twin click wheels and springless locking anchors for
the switching principle of the automatic winding mechanism. Also, of
note is a two spoke Glucydur screw balance, Nivarox hairspring, 19,800
bph, Incabloc shock resistance and direct center seconds. It has 24
jewels with a 45 hour power reserve. Old style quick-set which means one can change the date
easily by rotating the hour hand past midnight then backwards to nine
then forward again past midnight. The crown is a modern replacement. A brand new

Pink and Black Dialed Mido Multifort Superautomatic Powerwind
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. It is hard to find vintage watches which
don't look small on a big mans wrist. This is larger than most watches
from the era and also has
a very hard to find pink/copper/rose and black dial. The hands, indices
and text are all a nice dark rose color and the overall appearance is
quite nice with the color combination. Mido is one of the few
undervalued brands in the vintage market. They are known for robust
water proof cases and special crowns which use natural cork instead of
rubber to seal the case. If water to get on the cork it swells, sealing
the case even tighter. High grade in-house movement, keeping good time.
Original old cordovan strap matches the dial quite well but it is worn
and you may also choose another from our accessories page at no
additional cost. Measures 34.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 42 mm long x 13 mm thick.

Outstanding Mido Multifort Powerwind
Description: EXCELLENT condition. The stainless steel waterproof screw back
case is in excellent condition with just a few scuffs here and there but
the original dial is in mint condition and beyond attractive, in my
opinion. This is one of the most attractive dials I have seen on any

Title: Sweet Blue Dial
Mirexal Superautomatic 1000ft Dive Watch
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. This is a very cool watch with a heavy but
not too thick steel case and a super thick beveled glass crystal. Also,
a beautiful two tone dial, floating indices for high visibility under
water just like we see on many divers.
Oceanographer example. The signed crown screws down like Rolex watches
and most modern divers. And this is a quick set date which is only found
on the latest vintage watches as most were slow set up until the late
60's or even 1970. The uni-directional rotating bezel has black numbers
and some of them have lost their paint but the rest of the watch is
almost near mint. Very nice condition and absolutely gorgeous to see on
your wrist. Anyway, I like the way it looks with blue center and perfect
orange white hands. A new Hadley
Roma dark brown shark skin strap is attached. Keeps great time, is
Swiss made and unusual. Measures 40/42 mm wide (not including the

Description:
VERYGOOD condition. From a good customer who shops the fancy San
Francisco/Bay area where prices are sky high. Fully serviced by the
watchmaker/watch shop he bought it from in March of 2009 (watchmaker's
mark/date inside of the back) and keeping good time. This is a good
sized pink gold plated, 28 jewel Movado Caliber 538 automatic with a
sweet and original silvered dial. Rare quick set date with an extra pull
of the crown while it is out, in setting position. Don't do that while
the hour hand is anywhere near mid-night as mechanical quick set/QS
watches can be damaged in that position. Pink color although it is
faint, not a dark rose or salmon. Screw back is a mid 1960's favorite
because of water and dust resistance. Easy sealing with rubber O-rings.
Made in the 1960's with a period genuine crocodile leather strap. We'll
change it if you don't care for the look but the slight reddish hue goes
well with the pink case. Measures 34.5 mm wide (not including the

Curvy Sterling Silver Wire Lug Movado
Serviced
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. While negotiating for this I thought
the dial was porcelain but it turns out to be a re-finished painted dial
so I'm not sure if the original was marked "chronometer" like this is
marked. Most likely it was, but just spelled differently. Most dials are
refinished "as original" especially if still owned by the 1st or 2nd
buyer, rather than a dealer. Could still be a chronometre graded watch
which just means that it was certified as a really accurate time keeper
and overall it is pretty darn nice and all original except the dial.
Large puffy polyplan style could be priced twice as high in a fancy
venue. It does have a shallow 8 mm wide flat ding on the side near the
10 and 11 and has been to our watchmaker for full service, oil and
time. The 10.5 Ligne 15 jewel Movado hand wound movement
works perfectly. It is possible the hands are not original but the case
is fully marked and in superb shape as is the crown. A new mainspring
and low profile crystal has been added along with a new Hirsch wire lug
strap. 30% larger and this watch would double or triple in value easily.
In between a men's and ladies size but overall the presentation is like
new. Slightly curved and lightly polished almost one of a kind 1920's
vintage time piece. Measures 27 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 44 mm long x 8.5 mm thick.

Description: VERYGOOD condition.
Very nice condition even with the white marks/scratches or age on the
dial. I am pretty sure it is original as the fine detail is good and the
numerals are very dark with age. Our close-up photos make it look bad
but at one foot away it looks quite nice. Much better than you might
expect. Fully signed steel case is Swiss made and in superb condition.
From a collector who had it serviced recently. Day and month are shown
in the two windows. They are German or Portuguese, not sure. The day of
the month is shown with the extra hand on the dial. All functions work
perfectly but be warned, these watches must not be date changed when the
hands are near midnight. A brand new Hadley
Roma oil tan strap with a stainless steel buckle is attached. Measures 35.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 42 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Big 1970's Funky Three Register
Chronograph by Nivada

cool vintage piece with an outstanding mint black dial. The subsidiary

interval is graduated into twenty-five measurements for one fifth second
accuracy. The sub dial at three times for thirty minutes while the dial

on the back. The Valjoux 7736 hand wound Swiss made movement is keeping
excellent time and works the chronograph perfectly. A brand new 19 mm
black pigskin strap is attached.

New Old Stock Ollech and Wajs Early Bird

NOS/MINT condition. Sometimes a watch can be in New Old Stock
condition (never sold to the public) and still have case scuffing or

old military style timepiece. Swiss made by the famous small company
Ollech and Wajs (pronounced Wise). Albert Wajs is still making
affordable mil style and divers watches. This was for Vietnam era
soldiers and/or pilots with its unique 24hr dial where the hour hand
makes one revolution per 24hrs. Mint original dial. Mint original three
piece screw back steel case and bezel. Made in Switzerland with a hand
wound 17j non-hack movement. It runs fine but has never been serviced as

Beautiful Two Register Olympic Up Down
Chronograph
Serviced
Description:
GOOD/VERYGOOD condition. The Swiss made Venus chronograph movement in
the watch has been fully serviced, oiled and timed and is in
great shape, keeping very good time according to the timing machine. The
chrome plated case is only in average condition though. This is a very
early watch from the late 30's or early 1940's. The dial is super with
some age but overall it is very attractive. It has a tachymeter in blue
on the outside, a telemeter in red next and finally a black 0-60 second
counter for normal timing. This wonderful multi color dial looks perfect
to the naked eye, not so much in the close-up photo. The case appears
much better in person too. It has oval pushers, the original crown and a
neat old nato strap which came with the watch. This is a gorgeous watch
and I know I am going on and on about it but it is so hard to find nice,
perfectly working old chrono's for little money these days. Measures 32.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 39 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Title: Extra Nice RAF Omega 53' Thin Arrow
Serviced
Description:
NEARMINT condition. Refurbished in Bienne (Omega) with a signed
and probably new old stock Omega crown, easy to grip. Sweetly and
expertly buffed anti-magnetic and water proof Royal Air Force issue.
Heavy slotted back screws down. Anti-magnetic iron core helps protect
against anti-magnetism. Fully and properly marked. A new old stock Omega
thin arrow dial and hands and probably the signed acrylic crystal were
added. All told, almost $1000 cost to the previous owner. Comes with the
service/repair/restoration invoice which has matching serial and case
numbers and a new nylon one piece strap. Also has a certificate from
Omega with some cool facts and the same matching serial and case
reference numbers. The Thin Arrow model is the most popular model with
fewer made then the Fat Arrow examples. In my opinion, this is the
coolest Omega of its kind and it is down to the size, heft and thickness
of the case, the military provenance and the sweet, easy to read dials.
It is matte black with bright white Arabic numerals, radium dots and
white broad arrow skeleton radium hands. The long white center second
stands out easily. One of the rarest and most desirable vintage watches
on the market today. Measures 37.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 48 mm long x 14 mm thick.
