Title: Hard to Find Late 1930's 14k Gold Hamilton Cameron Serviced

Description: VERYGOOD condition. Could be a Custer or Allison I guess as three of these 30's gold watches look the same. Nice condition with a newly refinished dial. Solid yellow gold, signed and  The Caliber 982 hand wound movement was made in America and shows a few spots on the mainspring wheel and winding wheel but it has been fully serviced, oiled and timed by our watchmaker and comes with a one year mechanical warranty. $100 for the original Hamilton box seen in the photos, like this one. Click here. Measures 22 mm wide (not including the crown) x 37 mm long x 8 mm thick. {$425} Item #5217 SOLD

Title: Gorgeous 14k Hamilton Allison Serviced

Description: EXCELLENT condition. A beautiful 14k yellow gold 1930's American made timepiece with a gorgeous sterling silver dial and solid 14k gold Arabic numerals. Fully serviced, oiled and timed by the previous owner at RGM and also having a nice thin glass crystal. The large crown is easy to grip but probably not original. A nice slightly used Hadley Roma 2005 genuine alligator strap is included. This strap retails for $149.95!  Measures 22 mm wide (not including the crown) x 37 mm long x 8 mm thick. {$475} Item #5256 SOLD

Title: Vintage Hamilton "Dodson" with Tube Style Lugs

Description: GOOD condition. A great beginner or just every day affordable vintage time piece from the late 30's or early 1940's. American made. The high grade 987-F hand wound movement is in great shape. Check it out on the close up page. Click on the image to the left. The original dial (made of silver) looks a lot worse in this close up photo than in person. A brand new Hadley Roma lizard grain leather strap with a gold plate over stainless steel buckle is attached. Measures 27 mm wide (not including the crown) x 38 mm long x 10 mm thick. {$80} Item #4724 SOLD

Title: Very Nice Hamilton Automatic Date

Description: VERYGOOD condition. This is one of the nicest vintage affordable automatics we have had recently. It is very attractive with an original silvered dial, gold plated middle body and sturdy slotted screw on back. If you look closely you can see a faint mark or scratch near the 8, otherwise it is mint. Swiss made automatic movement keeps good time but no photo as the nice back is on very tight and I don't want to risk scratching it. Old style quick set works by moving the hour hand past midnight then back past nine and repeat. Looks really sharp in person. For some reason the photos just look OK. A nice new Hadley Roma genuine lizard skin 16 mm strap is attached, a $25 value. Measures 34.5 mm wide (not including the crown) x  39 mm long x 10 mm thick. {$145} Item #5273 SOLD

Title: Solid 14k Yellow Gold Hamilton Masterpiece

Description: NEARMINT condition. Gorgeous watch, almost unused. Hand wound with a Swiss made Caliber 637 movement which has been gone through by our watchmaker and keeps great time. Signed crown is easy to grip. Nice presentation on the back dated 1970. Nearmint original dial. Very thin dress watch almost 40 years old but looking new. A nice black Hadley Roma strap is installed. It is new. Measures 34 mm wide (not including the crown) x 39 mm long x 8 mm thick. {$290} Item #5225 SOLD

Title: Excellent 22 Jewel Hamilton

Description: GOOD/VERYGOOD condition. Not sure which model this is but it looks like a "Wilson" except it has 22 jewels instead of 17 which the "book" has it as. Maybe someone will keep me straight with an e-mail. Really nice unbuffed condition. No wear through of the yellow gold filled case but it does have scuffs and one tiny ding on the side opposite the signed Hamilton crown. I like this watch more than the average Hamilton tank because of the larger size and magnificent shock protected, adjusted high grade movement. Take a look by clicking on the image to the left. By this time (mid to late 1950's) Hamilton was at the top of it's game producing finely finished movements lasting for decades if not centuries. Too bad they are no more (American made movements). This watch has its original glass crystal, sterling silver dial and 14k gold markers. The dial is perfect. The crystal has a couple of tiny nicks around the 11 and 12 area. A brand new Hadley Roma padded oil tan strap in attached. Measures 27 mm wide (not including the crown) x 38 mm long x 10 mm thick. {$165} Item #5052 SOLD

Title: Very Rare Long Curved 1930's Hamilton Linwood

Description: GOOD condition. Hard to find and because of the extreme shape nearly impossible to find without wear on the back corners. I would not be shy about asking double if ours was without wear. Good deal of it seen on the back edges of the long elegant curved and step sided yellow gold filled case. Domed and curved dial is sterling silver and has solid 18k gold markers (most Hamilton's have a silver dial with gold markers). It is real sweet and has a star at 6. The crystal has some crazing and there is an inscription on the back. Mint condition original era pig skin strap could be original as these are thin lug widths and hard to find. The old buckle is not signed and I can't read the strap signature. Runs great with Hamilton's sturdy 17j Caliber 980 hand wound American made movement. Measures 22 mm wide (not including the crown) x 44 mm long x 10 mm thick. {$325} Item #4987 SOLD

Title: Collectable Three Register Vintage Hamilton Chronograph

Description: GOOD/VERYGOOD condition. Nice 1960's all steel round pusher, screw back vintage Swiss chronograph with the original black and white dial. Highly sought after dial color combination. No age on this dial except slight and typical darkening of the lum dots and lum in the hands. The Hamilton signed Caliber 640 (Valjoux 7736) keeps good time and times perfectly with its 60 second center hand, 30 minute register at three and 12 hour counter at six. Some funny dings on the original signed crown and one pusher. See photo close-ups. Light scuffs and nicks. A nice new 19 mm Rios Sport strap is included. Measures 36 mm wide (not including the crown) x 43 mm long x 13 mm thick. {$1075} Item #5014 SALE! {$825} SOLD

Title: Benrus or Hamilton Military Issue Mechanic's Special

Description: Hand wound and running but needs restoration. Hands a bit rough, original dial is OK. One piece steel case is popular military genre and still under valued. Measures 35 mm wide (not including the crown) x 40 mm long x 12 mm thick. {$99} Item #3996 SOLD

Title: 22j Hamilton Wristwatch

Description: GOOD condition. Mint original silvered dial and a gorgeous high grade American made 22j hand wound movement. Click on the image to the left for close up shots. The gold filled case does have some wear on the edge. A brand new strap is attached. Measures 33 mm wide (not including the crown) x 39 mm long x 9 mm thick. {$109} Item #4764 SOLD {$75}

Title: Yellow GF Hamilton Ashley

Description: VERYGOOD condition. Our close-up photo of the front of this watch (click on the image to the left) is way too close as you really can't see the tarnish in person which shows up more pronounced in the photos. Looks nearmint easily in person. It has been re-finished though (the dial). Some wear on the back, see photos. Restored by a friend and old timer watchmaker. Signed crown and 19j American made Hamilton 982 movement. Hamilton watch dials are made of silver and the numerals are gold. A great starter watch or fun dress watch. Keep in mind that form watches are not water or dust resistant. A brand new Hadley Roma oil tan strap is included. Measures 24 mm wide (not including the crown) x 37 mm long x 9 mm thick. {$115} Item #5022 SOLD

Title: Nice One Owner Hamilton Nordon AS FOUND

Description: VERYGOOD condition. The one piece yellow gold filled case is nice and has been lightly buffed. Found at an estate sale. Checked over and cleaned (superficially) by our watchmaker. It has the original glass crystal which is not seen often. It does have scratches on it. Original dial is perfect. You have to see it in person to appreciate it. The CLD under Hamilton stands for "sealed against dust and moisture". Original crown and perfect 18j Caliber 748 hand wound American made movement. This is much more water resistant than tank watches as it has a bowl shaped case with no removable back. A brand new Hadley Roma brown leather strap is included. Measures 29.5 mm wide (not including the crown) x 37 mm long x 11 mm thick. {$165} Item #5082 SOLD

Title: Beautiful Gold Filled Hamilton Hand Wind

Description: EXCELLENT condition. A beautiful watch made in 1960 with a gorgeous older refinished dial, sub second hand and near mint 22 jewel shock protected American made movement. Unbuffed condition with light tarnish. Virtually no wear. Note: one of the ways we can find evidence of a refinished dial is to examine the back. Here we see that the gold dot indices have been removed for the paint job and replaced. See the grind marks at each indice? (on the large shot of the  movement attached to the dial, click on the image to the left). Measures 33 mm wide (not including the crown) x 41 mm long x 9 mm thick. {$165} Item #4910 SOLD

Title: New Old Stock Ladies White Gold Hamilton Rhapsody

Description: MINT condition.  Unused solid 14k white gold case with a dozen pretty diamonds around the bezel. Hand wound 17j Hamilton movement keeps good time. Original box and Rhapsody signed Hamilton price tag. Very expensive watch from the 1960's at $225. What a great bargain at this price for an unused solid gold and diamond watch. Measures 17 mm wide (not including the crown) x 34 mm long x 7 mm thick. {$425} Item #5015 SOLD

Title: Wonderful 14k Yellow Gold Diamond Dial Hamilton Serviced

Description: EXCELLENT condition.  Sweet watch with an original nearmint dial and superb contract case (marked 14k but not Hamilton). All of the fancy dial Hamilton's along with the top hat series and platinum watches were in contract cases. This one is in extra fine condition with a faint scuff or two on the sides. It has the original style faceted crystal. The 17j Hamilton Caliber 980 hand wound movement has recently been serviced by the previous owner and keeps excellent time. All in all this is a wonderful watch in fantastic condition. There are 14 small diamonds on the dial. Measures 21 mm wide (not including the crown) x 39 mm long x 11 mm thick. {$1375} Item #4951 SOLD

Title: Ladies 14k White Gold Hamilton w/Diamonds

Title: Beautiful 14k Hamilton Sub Second Hand Wind

Description: EXCELLENT condition. A very attractive solid yellow gold watch with a well done refinished dial and a solid 14k yellow gold Hamilton buckle. We sell new gold buckles for $80 and up so I figure a vintage Hamilton gold buckle is worth at least $100. If you don't want it I'll buy it from you. This watch has an inscription on the back but it is well done and overall no damage or much sign of age. From a collector who has had it for many years. This is an extremely attractive piece from about 1960 with an American made hand wound movement. Let me know your strap preference as the old strap needs to be replaced. Runs fine and measures 33 mm wide (not including the crown) x 40 mm long x 8 mm thick. {$360} Item #4617 SOLD

Title: Hard to Find Hamilton Pan Europ Steel Auto

Description: EXCELLENT condition. Hamilton Swiss made Caliber 64 shock protected high grade movement is one of the best made as is the case which by this time (1960's) most good watches had heavy screw on back and sealed water resistant crown and stem. Originally a 100 ft water resistant and shock resistant anti magnetic non-quickset watch. The water resist might not be too accurate though. Aged original dial and refinished (buffed) case with a few nicks still visible. This is a sweet mid-sized divers style automatic. A brand new DeBeer Paris black leather strap with a stainless steel buckle is attached. Measures 35 mm wide (not including the crown) x 40 mm long x 12 mm thick. {$269} Item #4729 SOLD

Excellent case condition, almost nearmint upon further examination. Original crown and glass crystal (somewhat rare). Pigskin strap is exactly the kind of strap used/sold with the watch and appears to be unmarked but the buckle is signed. Probably contains Hamilton's 19j Caliber 982 (typical for this model). Title: Big Automatic Hamilton Dive Watch

Description: GOOD condition. In 15 years of collecting I have not seen one Hamilton like this. It is heavy steel with a screw down crown. The bakelite bezel has nicks and one crack which is at 47 minutes. The case has not been buffed and appears to have been used by a working diver. The one piece nylon strap is well worn and molded to the watch as if it was used quite a bit. The dial has in part been refinished and maybe in whole. The red indices are exaggerated and very bright as are the hands. This has an automatic (probably ETA) movement with a quick set day and date. The heavy screw back says tested to 10 atms or 330 feet and it is marked Hamilton. It is running fine and keeping good time. Measures 40 mm wide (not including the crown) x 45 mm long x 15 mm thick. {$675} Item #4147 SOLD

Title: Extra Nice Vintage Hamilton Cranston w/Box and Paper Serviced

Description: EXCELLENT condition. 1940's, long, gold and very pink. The pink gold case is marked 14k but not Hamilton (this is common for this genre of Hamilton "contract" cases)/case designs. It rates about 90% with a few very small dings and nicks. Pink unsigned crown. The dial has 15 diamonds and looks original but it may have been refinished some time ago as it shows age and rates about 85%. Original hands including the white subsidiary seconds hand which may have been done for a doctor to easily read a patients pulse. The 17j American made Hamilton 980 Cal hand wound movement has been fully serviced, oiled and timed. This are popular vintage watches purchased by the elite during the 40's and they are still one of the most collectible American wristwatches of the period. Title: Rare and Desirable Ladies Platinum and Diamond Hamilton

Description: Well, maybe not so rare but collectors quickly grab up platinum watches these days, even ladies models. Certainly much more expensive in its day (1940's) than now. Discounted heavily because of a dented back. Overall the condition is 80% or so with most of the deduction taken because of the perfectly fitted, dented back. Fully signed with 48 diamonds. Original black cord strap with signed/marked 14k white gold clasp (I've never seen a cord strap with gold attachments).  Slightly scuffed original glass crystal. This piece is a large size for a ladies watch and looks great on the wrist. The integrity of the case has not been compromised with the dents/damage on the back. Retail would be $500-$750 in perfect condition. Measures 14 mm wide (not including the signed crown) x 28 mm long x 6 mm thick. {$345} Item #3389 SOLD JS

The original dial is nice and the large steel case is neat too. It is one piece with a removable bezel only. Title: Rare Hamilton Canteen or Bu-Ships Military Issue Waterproof Antique

Description: EXCELLENT condition. One of the rarest vintage military watches ever made. Issue watches were supposed to be turned in after duty so few survived for collectors. The condition is good and there are no scratches on the 10-sided hex back. It screws in place and I have not opened it for movement info for fear of a scuff. It should have a hack set Caliber 987S according to Ziggy (Z.M. Wesolowski, A Concise Guide To Military Timepieces). This watch does hack and is keeping excellent time, showing less than 20 seconds error per day according to the timing machine. Hamilton was the first manufacturer to supply a diver’s watch to our Naval Combat Demolition Teams in the early 1940's. They worked with the Navy's construction battalions or Sea Bees clearing beach approaches of mines and other obstacles. These teams were later re-named Underwater Demolition Teams or UDTs. Hamilton developed this special watch with a cap, which screws down over the winding stem and a thick glass crystal, which is soldered into place. You can still see the solder on this crystal by clicking on the picture to the left where the close up photos are. The dial is in perfect condition and after close examination may be refinished. I believe the hands are original. The dark black Hamilton signature is characteristic of a frogman watch (same as the Elgin model) and can be seen in the right light just under the center pinion. It is keeping very good time and is on a modern period canvas strap like those from the era. Measures 32 mm wide (not including the crown) x 40 mm long x 13 mm thick. {$1475} Item #4159 SOLD TO PZ

Title: Really Nice Old Dueber Hampden Wrist Watch

Description: VERYGOOD condition. Watches like this are pretty hard to find in real nice condition because they just wore out. Made in three parts, a steel snap on back, base metal middle body and snap on bezel. Perfect original dial and little age seen on the case. Mid-grade No. 400 Hampden American made movement even keeps good time especially for its age. 1930's or older. The serial number of the movement dates to about 1918 but it may have been re-cased as a wrist watch in the late 20's or early 30's. Original crown and thin glass crystal.  Pretty big compared to other watches from the time period measuring 29 mm wide (not including the crown) x 35 mm long x 9 mm thick. PS. Many of those high priced websites would ask double, triple or more for this cool old time piece. {$165} Item #5276 SOLD

Title: Nearmint SS Black Dial 2 Reg. Helbros Chronograph

Description: NEARMINT condition. One of the nicest versions of this genre I have seen recently. Most often this type (1940's flat pusher snap back chronograph) is found in gold plate or chrome plated base metal. This watch is all steel and formerly new old stock condition. I am calling it nearmint because of some faint scuffs on the back and a couple of nicks, one on the bezel at 10. All original including the box. The shiny Swiss made Helbros Caliber 243 chronograph movement has 17 jewels and looks to me like it was serviced once in the recent past. It runs and keeps good time and all of the chronograph functions work perfectly. The small subsidiary dial at 3 counts up to 30 minutes while the long center second hand starts and stops for timing with the button at two. Reset with the other button at 4. It should go without saying that the original strap for this watch would be a real find as leather does not survive 60 years quite like steel. Strap seen is a brand new Hadley Roma black leather strap with a stainless steel buckle. Measures 36 mm wide (not including the crown) x 43 mm long x 12 mm thick. {$775} Item #4855 SALE! {$550} SOLD

Title: Nice Vintage Swiss Made Helbros Alarm

Description: GOOD condition. Beautiful original silvered dial in mint condition. Original hands with the hour hand missing its lum in part. Steel and chrome plated case has a little age on the edges and some scratches. Slow set date. Pleasant low key alarm works great. Set it and wind it (the alarm) with the crown at two. This box, hang tag and manual came with it and are probably original. Measures 35 mm wide (not including the crown) x 43 mm long x 12 mm thick. {$275} Item #5081 SOLD

Title: Nice Helbros Hand Wind

Description: NEARMINT condition. Fantastic steel and base metal hand wound Helbros from the 1960's. No wear that I can see. Mint dial. Nice old original leather strap too (unsigned but from the era). Swiss made. Measures 35.5 mm wide (not including the crown) x 42 mm long x 12 mm thick. {$75} Item #5066 SOLD

Title: Cool 1960's Helbros Diver

Hand wound Swiss Helbros 17j shock protected movement runs great. Neat original tropic style rubber strap.  Measures 36.5 mm wide (not including the crown) x 44 mm long x 11 mm thick. {$125} Item #4878 SOLD

Title: Nice 1940's Helbros w/Box

Description: A cool little watch in a Helbros box although it may not be original. I say that because I think the retail price at that time would have been more like $39 or so for this piece and the little sticker only says $22. It is in very good condition and probably qualifies as near mint except for the dial which shows a tiny bit of age. Runs great with a  Swiss made 17 jewel hand wound movement (pristine condition) and we have added a new Hadley Roma leather strap.  Measures 28 mm wide (not including the signed crown) x 36 mm long x 10 mm thick. {$135} Item #3394 SOLD EG
