Title: Super Cool Early Gotham Radium Dial
Wrist Watch
Description:
GOOD condition. Wonderful example of an affordable cool
vintage gents watch. Probably radium on the Arabic numerals but with
nice new luminescent material in the original hands, filled by Wayne who
also checked out the 6 jewel Gotham (AS-554) hand wound movement. Swiss
watch with a nice three piece case, original dial and long 16 mm genuine
lizard skin strap. We'll put something else on there if you don't like
it. Checked out by Wayne and regulated. PS. Notice the back which says
stainless on the inside and base metal on the outside. Pretty sure they
mean that the middle body and bezel are chrome plated base metal and the
back is steel. Pretty good size for vintage square of this age.
Measures 29 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 35 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Title: Cool Pink Bulova
w/Rare Pink Bracelet
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Wow! Lucky to find pink watches of any kind
and real lucky with bracelets. This is a gentlemen's watch btw, not a
ladies watch and the little pink gold filled bracelet will fit a large
wrist with the extension out. Most likely, our wrists were much smaller
40 years ago. Would be great for a gal though or medium wristed man.
Original dial is aged but looks better in person, much better. This
style of Bulova dial is unique with the white Arabic's standing out
nicely against the pink background. Wayne has checked this watch out and
regulated it. Signed crown. Steel snap on back. The bracelet is an
American made Speidel. Measures 31 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 34 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Title:
Very Nice SS Vulcain Automatic w/Bombay Lugs
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Very unusual in that the all steel case is
not marked Swiss nor the dial. It is powered by an A. Schild (Swiss
made) movement according to Wayne the watchmaker, has 17 jewels and
keeps good time. Some light scuffs on the case which has a screw on
back. Quick set date which is nice and hard to find on vintage. Probably
made in about 1970-75 is my guess. A super sweet Hadley Roma sporting
style black leather strap with breathable design is attached. And a
steel buckle. Wayne has installed a new crystal. Measures 34 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40 mm long x 11 mm thick.

Title:
Pre-Owned Seiko "Streamline" 100 Meter Quartz Chrono/Alarm
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Comes with a box, manual and unsigned
warranty card and looks perfect in the photos but there are some large
scratches on the Titanium Carbide Nitride over steel bracelet from wrist
on desk type action and some on the head too, although nothing deep.
Nearmint otherwise and taken care of by the previous owner. Wayne has
examined it and installed a brand new battery. Modern design with a
Japanese quartz movement which features a stepped chronograph second
(like a mechanical watch it ticks about 5 times per second instead of
just once) and a functional time zone alarm dial which can do either job
for you (2nd time zone or alarm), and has four extra links which are
unused and have not scuffed. Probably retails for about 4 or 5 hundred. Measures 40 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 50 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Title:
Pre-Owned Citizen Echodrive w/Diamonds
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. I think this watch is a few years old as the
original owner had it for awhile. Comes with both boxes and manual
although the outer thin paper box is a bit tattered. Some scuffs on the
bracelet which is made pretty nice Should fit a 7 and 1/2 inch wrist or
smaller as it is just a tad too tight as is for my 7 and 5/8ths inch
wrist. I think these are genuine diamonds but I have not actually
researched this model. It is attractive, looking like a modern full bar
Omega Constellation. Japanese Echodrive never needs a battery change. Measures 36 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 38 mm long x 1xx mm thick.

Title: Nice Bulova Accutron, Circa 1967
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Got this watch a couple of weeks ago and put
a new battery inside and watched it. It is keeping really good time so
far which seems to be somewhat rare with old Accutron watches. They were
the first battery or non-mechanical watches and used a tuning fork for
accurate timekeeping. You can hear it humming in a high pitch if you
hold it up to your ear. This is a Caliber 214, commonly called a back
set as the setting mechanism is on the back. See what the movements look
like by clicking on this example of a
Bulova Spaceview Accutron.
which is a see through version we've sold in the past. No crown. Perfect
original gold dial. Lightly scuffed and nicked middle body. Measures 34 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40 mm long x 13.5 mm thick.

NFW Carbon Fiber Dial 200m Diver
Description:
EXCELLENT/NEARMINT condition. Made by a new company in Connecticut with a
good looking and durable design. Japanese quartz movement. Screw down
crown. Two extra links and the box with papers included. The carbon
fiber dial is pretty sharp. Measures 45 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 50 mm long x 14 mm thick.

Title: Traser Code Blue Tritium
Quartz Diver
Description:
NEARMINT condition. Rugged plastic and steel combination makes
this a lightweight and extremely durable time piece. One owner with
original packaging, open warranty booklet and tag. Tritium gas filled
tubes illuminate the dial, hands and I think there is one on the timing
bezel. 30 meter water resist rating and this is one watch I wouldn't
worry about getting wet. This may be a few years old as the dial doesn't
seem to light up all that great. Measures 43 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 46 mm long x 10.5 mm thick.

Title:
Large LNIB Rotary Reverso
Description:
NEARMINT condition. Unused with box, hang tag and papers. This
model is fairly large and if you are not familiar with the brand, they
are Swiss made and extremely good quality, especially for the money.
They are one of those brands that are fairly priced at the retail level
and not heavily discounted like some other, over priced watches. Of
course, what I like most about this model is that you get two for one!
Sweet design. Quartz movement. Also has a nice steel hidden deployant
steel bracelet. Measures 30 mm wide (not including the crown) x 44 mm
long x 11.5 mm thick.

Large European Market Onsa Hand Wind
Description:
GOOD condition. This is really a cool watch with a fantastic
original dial in two colors and large fancy case even though it is
chrome and has wear on the lug tops. The back is steel and snaps in
place. Wire lugs with an expensive open ended strap from Hirsch
attached. Runs great, keeps good time, is shock protected (Incabloc) and
is probably late 40's or early 1950's. Measures 36 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 44 mm long x 10.5 mm thick.

Title:
Small Waterproof Gotham Bumper Wind
Description:
GOOD condition. Very old watch with a great dial and hands
which have left a little burn on the dial from sitting in one position
for several years. Late 1930's or early 40's I think. In good condition
with four small screws holding the back onto the middle body. Waterproof
at the time, shock protected and anti-magnetic. Made for a man but at
that time wrist watches were much smaller as is this one. Measures 29.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 34.5 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Title: New Old Stock
Galco Dive Watch
Description:
MINT condition. Unused condition. Chrome plated middle body
with a slotted screw on steel back which is marked 5 atm's. Swiss made
but I can't get the back off to see what movement is inside. They are
hand wound, shock resistant and have 17 jewels. We have three of these
with one of them having a super fine scuff on the back and one or two
showing light age on the chrome plating which surrounds the tritium
markers. This is one of them in these photos but I can't see it at all
without a loupe. These close-ups make it (the aged chrome) stand out.
Bi-directional divers bezel. All keep good time. I've checked them on
the timing machine and by setting and watching. Measures 37 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 47 mm long x 11 mm thick.

Title: Extra Fine Tissot
Sideral Automatic
Description:
NEARMINT condition. We are known for under grading and rarely
use NEARMINT when describing vintage watches because they practically
don't exist. Some dealers call every watch they sell near mint even
though the original finish has been lost to buffing and the dial has
been repainted/refinished. This watch is almost new old stock but was
owned by a collector and has not been worn much with no signs of wear at
all, only a faint scuff or tiny nick if you look very close. Original
brushed gold plated finish over steel with a water proof style screw on
back and high grade Tissot automatic movement. Click on the image to the
left for close-up photos. Original mint dial, crystal, signed crown and
old style quick set date. Move the hour hand past midnight, back to nine
and repeat. One of our finest and most comfortable Hadley Roma brown
soft leather straps (MS 886) is
attached with a matching gold plated over steel sport style buckle. Measures 39 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Hard to Find 1940's Movado Solidograf
AS FOUND
Description:
GOOD condition. Nice old hand wound Swiss made gentleman's
wrist watch by Movado with an in-house, indirect center second factory
movement and a steel snap on back, fully signed with a cuvette or dust
cover. Medium in size with a nice original dial even with the obvious
spots seen in our close-up photos. I mention this a lot but this watch
looks much better in person as our super close-ups don't do it justice.
Easy to grip crown may be a replacement. Cool original red arrow tipped
second hand. Check other websites for prices of Movado watches. As usual
our price beats everybody. Runs fine and keeps good time. Formally
the property of a collector. Holed lugs make strap changing easy.
The middle body and bezel of this piece is chrome plated but in nice
condition. A brand new Hadley Roma brown leather strap is included. Measures 32
mm wide (not including the crown) x 38 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Good Sized SS Hamilton Automatic
AS FOUND
Description: VERYGOOD condition.
Swiss made with a nice ETA automatic movement, original tritium silvered
dial, faceted acrylic crystal, screw on waterproof back and signed
crown. From my cabinets of old stock saved for many years this steel
case does have lots of nicks and scratches but runs great, keeping good
time. At this price point we simply can't afford to put $75 into a $100
watch for service so I rarely sell them in this price range as they have
to be running properly with no problems. The red second hand is cool. A
nice new lizard skin strap is attached. Measures 36 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Title:
Early 1940's SS Mido Multifort Super Automatic
AS FOUND
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Can't bargain price Mido watches as they are
Omega's unrecognized little sister in my opinion. What I mean is that
they, like Omega had many innovations and made their own automatic
modules to go on their A. Schild hand wound movements, had nice early
waterproof automatic watches and also many technical inventions like the
water proofing crown system which uses natural cork instead of rubber.
The benefit is that the cork swells if contacted with water completely
sealing the stem area from the outside. All stainless steel with a screw
on back and original plain silvered dial. No lum. This is an Incabloc
shock protected, anti-magnetic Mido in decent condition with a dinged up
crown but otherwise fully usable and keeping good time. We have
installed a nice Hadley Roma dark brown strap with ss buckle. This is
small enough for a lady to wear but they were considered a gents watch
and sold as such 70 years ago when this was made. PS. Could also be late
1930's. Measures 29 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 35 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Nice Hand Wound Porcelain Dial Enicar Sport
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Really good looking watch with a fairly rare
porcelain dial and good sized all steel case. Three hairline cracks on
the dial or this would easily get a lot more money. Check out this model
from our free vintage price guide which sold recently.
on back covers a 15j center second shock protected hand wound Enicar (A.
Schild Caliber 1188) which has been gone through and checked out by
Wayne the watchmaker. A new old stock lizard strap looks great with this
cool dial. Measures 34.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 42 mm long x 12.5 mm thick.

Title:
Big Heavy Pink Croton, Swiss Made Automatic
Description:
NEARMINT condition. Sweet watch which looks and wears way better
than this low price might lead you to believe. The pink gold plated
steel case and bracelet have few light scuffs if any and the ETA 25
jewel movement has a gorgeous decorated rotor. Also, the crown screws
down and the crystals are sapphire. Croton's branding is is problem,
otherwise I can see a nice watch like this retailing for about $600 and
selling on the pre-owned market for about $375 or so. Grab it quick if
you like the style. Very heavy. Double deployant bracelet clasp. Fits an
8 inch wrist or smaller. Measures 43 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 50 mm long x 11.5 mm thick.

Affordable Stainless Steel Wittnauer Automatic
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Nice affordable one piece water and dust
resistant automatic watch from the 1960's. I purchased this from my
watchmaker Wayne who has gone through it. It is Swiss made and runs
great and looks great with some pitting on the back and several light
nicks all over. Not an issue except for aesthetics. A cool inexpensive
shark type vintage strap from his old stock is attached but if you would
like a nice Hadley Roma we can put one on it for you. Signed crown and
truly a one piece case with no bezel or back, all one single part. Measures 30 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 37 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Title:
Unusual Rose Gruen Electra
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. This is a really cool transitional watch
made before quartz and half mechanical. The Landeron Caliber 4750
movement uses a battery to power the traditional balance wheel/assembly
and so this watch/second hand ticks like a mechanical. A dark rose gold
plated case with a steel back. Very nice condition but the photos show
some wear through down on the edge of the bezel but I can't see this
with the naked eye at all. Only with magnification or in these close up
photos. This is a decent size and fairly thick and heavy. Nice original
dial shows a little age and cool mildly darkened lightning bolt hands.
Our watchmaker Wayne has gone through this (checked it out for problems)
and put a new battery in. It runs a little fast because modern batteries
are a bit different in power output. About 15-30 seconds a day. Measures 35 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 43 mm long x 15 mm thick.

Unusual Euro Hialeah Brand Mil Style
Description:
GOOD condition. This unusual brand is marked Hialeah on the
dial and O. Maire Inc. on the case and the 7 jewel hand wound movement.
Screw back is steel while the rest of it is chrome plated. There is some
wear to the high points and on the bezel. Perfect dial and original
numerals. Hands have been painted up by a European watchmaker. Runs fine
and keeps good time. Measures 31 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 39 mm long x 10 mm thick.

Small Swiss Made "Florence Miller"
Mechanical Alarm
Serviced
Description:
GOOD condition. We just serviced the Swiss made A. Schild
Caliber 1475 hand wound alarm movement on this vintage time piece. It
works great but has been used enough to show most of the gold plated
parts well worn (on the head). Base metal middle body with a steel back.
Original era gold plated and steel bracelet. Original dial say's
Florence Miller at the top. She was a beloved Newfoundland author and
poet in the early 20th century and I am unsure how her name got on this
dial. Two explanations come to mind. This "line" from the manufacturer
was a Florence Miller line or I suppose the watch could have been hers
as she lived until 1979 dying at the age of 89. Could be another
Florence Miller altogether. Measures 33 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40 mm long x 13 mm thick. Item #4620

Description:
FAIR/GOOD condition. This old watch has been in Europe all its
life until now. The black dial is original and in good condition with
cool very dark radium Arabic numerals. Recently freshened up with white
in the hands. Runs fine and has a base metal middle body which has lost
all its chrome. Oversized subsidiary seconds dial. Dial looks better in
person than these photos show. Unusual military style, 1940's time
piece. Measures 32 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 39 mm long x 9 mm thick.

Very Nice Looking Pink Benrus w/Matching Expansion Bracelet
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Great example of a well made affordable
vintage pink tank style Benrus. Excellent pink gold filled case and
original pink bracelet which is hard to find. Not signed but none of
them ever were, expansion bracelets like this. Jewelers usually sold
them or a strap along with the watch from their own inventory. A little
bit of wear on it but they are rare in pink. Original dial and glass
crystal. That is a black mark at around 5 and 6 and a lighter one around
12. The curved shadow on the left is from my photography dome camera
hole and is seen in a lot of photos from the angle. From a local
watchmakers estate here in Missouri. Runs great. Measures 21 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 34 mm long x 9 mm thick.
