Fantastic One Button Early
Pierce Chronograph
Serviced
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Stunningly beautiful dial on this watch and
I've kept the price even lower than the other one we just sold. See what I am
referring to Pierce, click here.
Extra fine collectable often overlooked by collectors, Pierce
chronographs had fantastic dials which often lasted for generations. All
original with sweet luminescent Arabic numeral and filled hands. Very
faint at this point. The detail is fantastic and I find my eye exploring
all of the detail and timing charts. Tachymeter and Telemeter and a 60
seconds track plus the two (also called up down dials) subsidiary dials
keep up to 30 minutes, like a stop watch. The single button at four
starts, stops and resets the red chronograph hand. This watch has a
steel back which is held in place with screws and uses an old fashioned
lead seal. The main or middle body (there is no removable bezel) is
chrome over base metal. The lugs are holed for ease of strap changing
and the crown is large and easy to grip. From a collector who has
serviced it recently and Wayne has also had a look to confirm and check
for problems. There is one I would like to mention. Some sort of spacer
or case/movement clamp or screw is missing as the movement and dial have
a little play in the case which is noticed by experienced watch
collectors while winding. I've marked the price lower than usual for
this reason. The in-house movement is very clean and sharp and it runs
great. They have a rare mechanism which starts the chronograph hand
smoothly rather than with a one second jump or jerk. This is fascinating
and rare for chronographs. Measures 34.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 39 mm long x 14 mm thick.

EXCELLENT condition. Wow. Fantastic watch with an unbelievable
dial. It isn't perfect, but very near. It is a two tone silvered dial

magnification and in our close-ups you can see small dots from age.
Mostly on the middle part of the dial and some on the lumed chromed
hands. All steel with a signed snap on back and signed crown. New
acrylic crystal also installed by Wayne the watchmaker who has examined
the Omega Caliber #470 in-house 17j automatic movement and regulated it

Title: Nice Modern Breitling
Colt, Quartz
Description: EXCELLENT
condition. This high grade Swiss dive watch is about 10 years old as
we sold it to one of our regulars a long time ago. He's kept good care
of it but there are some tiny nicks on the bezel and other light
scuffs here and there. Mostly one sees the bezel nicks but we
under grade so most are surprised with better condition than said when
their watch arrives. Well made with a 1000 foot rating and mineral glass
crystal. It does have some scratches on it, the crystal. Checked by Wayne for
problems and a new battery
installed. All steel with a bead blasted or parkerized type dull finish.
Completely original including the dark green dial. Pick any strap $30 or less for
free. I like the original which is made by Hadley Roma and looks like
this exactly except not marked Breitling.

crown) x 44 mm long x 11 mm thick.

Title:
Attractive Black and Pink Omega Seamaster
Circa 1953
Description:
GOOD condition. I've only rated this GOOD because of some
pitting on the steel case and a refinished dial. Also, the hands are
yellow, the correct style and probably Omega but the arrowhead shaped
indices (markers) are rose. Originally would have rose colored hands to
match the rose indices. It is not extremely noticeable upon first
glance. Wayne has checked the Omega Caliber 351 bumper wind automatic
and added a new acrylic crystal and gaskets. Signed crown. Screw on
signed back. The pitting is not too severe but it does lower value over
a near mint or perfect example. Still a very attractive watch and
affordable for something extremely unique. Should be fine for hand
washing and rainy days but no longer water proof, not that we've tested
anyway. The strap is a new black soft rubber but you may choose
something else from our Accessories page
in the $30 or under range or add $30 credit to an upgrade. Measures 34.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 43 mm long x 11 mm thick.

Large Green Dial. LeCoultre Master Mariner
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. This 10k gold filled (see about gold
filled watch cases
<HERE>...) case is of one piece design with no removable back.
Shaped like a bowl for greater water and dust resistance. Quick set date will change
date of the month with a push of the crown. Gorgeous original dial has pylon style raised markers and a fantastic
60's, early 70's style. The 12 and 6 have lum dots but I checked them in the dark
and they don't light up much. The LeCoultre automatic movement has been
evaluated by our watchmaker and is keeping good time and we have lightly
buffed the case. The large crown is easy to grip and
matches in style and color but has S on it. Sweet large vintage high
grade LeCoultre Master Mariner automatic! Measures 36 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Title: Large SS
Printania Chronograph
Serviced
Description:
GOOD condition. This sure is a gorgeous time piece but I
paid $300, then found out it needed service ($125), then some parts and
now I'm selling it for my cost! Great! The non-water resistant snap back
case is marked acier innoxable (rustless steel) and Swiss. It has been
buffed or brought back to a nice polished finish and has some small
dimples or dents on the back. Not actually noticed without close
examination. The Landeron Caliber 48, Swiss made chronograph movement
has been fully serviced, oiled and timed by Wayne and some new
parts installed. New crystal, mainspring and crown. The dial was
original, I thought but looking very closely I see that it says t swiss
t and there is no tritium anywhere except the hands. The text is very
well done and the detail excellent. And, although this is a Swiss watch
with a Swiss made case and movement, I am surprised that the pushers are
not water resistant. Anyway, great looking watch and quite a bit larger
than most vintage chrono's and is fit with a fantastic DeBeer Paris
sport leather strap. Measures 40 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 48 mm long x 13 mm thick.

Title:
Beautiful Stainless Steel
Vintage Omega Century
Serviced
Description:
EXCELLENT/NEARMINT condition. Rare 16j Omega hand wound Caliber 30T2-SC
Swiss made movement has a pretty pink gold wheel train and was
serviced by the watch restorer a few years ago when the last owner, a
collector of top condition watches, purchased it. It was made in about
1944 during WW II when steel was hard to get and good watches for
civilians not so common. The Ref. #10567146 Omega signed back snaps in
place and has some pitting on one edge between the lugs. The middle body
does also but not the inner lip or seal. This has all been cleaned up by
the company who refurbished the watch and not easily visible without
looking real close. It may effect water proofedness but the style is not
very water proof anyway although this case has a fancy curved stem area
and is probably sealed in the crown/stem area. The nice black dial is a
refinish and was also done by the watch restorer. The indices are yellow
while the hands are white or silver in color. Nice large crown is easy
to grip. I believe this is the correct case and movement for a Century
but since the dial has been refinished I need to do a little more
research. Some of my Omega customers may write and let me know before
long so I'll update. A brand new black
Hadley Roma genuine square
grain Alligator strap is attached with a brand new authentic
Omega stainless steel buckle.
A millimeter or two larger than most hand wound versions from this age,
measuring 35 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 42 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Title: New Old Stock
Omega Megaquartz Chronometer Grade
Description:
NEARMINT condition. Although this watch is unbuffed and rarely
used it does have some nicks. I am rating it nearmint because it was
collected in mint condition, unused and then worn a bit by a careful new
old stock collector. Some nicks, micro-fine scuffs and two or three
small scratches on the crown/pusher side which has a gorgeous brushed
finish. Large steel watch with a signature slotted screw back where the
observatory shows us what mint/no wear observatories should look like. A
large 24 mm "Alpha" brand leather strap is attached, 99% unused and a
neat brushed and polished (matching the head) unbranded stainless steel
double deployant buckle is attached. Quick set day date with the crown
and sunken pushers. Flat mineral glass crystal. Nice coin edge bezel.
Signed crown. Really good time keeper in a good size and shape which I
think is fairly unique in today's market. Measures 38 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 43 mm long x 12.5 mm thick.

Title: Stunning 1920's
Hamilton Tonneau
Serviced
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Simply gorgeous with this unusual, nearly
one of a kind dial. Re-finished professionally with a silver center,
black outer portion and light green Arabic numerals and hands. The white
gold filled case is in great condition with no wear through of the gold
and has beautiful engraving on the side. This type of case is reinforced
with heavy metal material inside and weighs more than other models from
that time. There are a few little tiny dings in the signed back which
snaps on perfectly. The American made Caliber 987-F movement was
recently serviced by the previous owner and it is keeping good time. The
crown is probably not original but is large and easy to grip. Perfect
crystal feels like glass but it may be a modern hardened acrylic. Made
in the late 1920's and can easily rival the beauty of some more
expensive Illinois models. Decent size for the age also as many watches
were much smaller than this at that time. Measures 28 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 34 mm long x mm thick.

Beautiful 38 mm 18k Pink Gold Verbana Chronographe Suisse
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Gorgeous condition in pink gold and signed,
hallmarked and stamped. This genre is a lightweight watch with a metal
dust cover which doubles as an anti-magnetic device. The Swiss made,
hand wound Landeron movement is shiny and bright and hardly looks used.
It runs great and all of the timing/chronograph functions are working
properly. The original dial is fantastic and looks perfect and mint to
the naked eye. With magnification you may see some lost paint up around
the edge. I've not noticed this at all until the photos showed it. Still
can't see it without a loupe it is so small. This dial is really sweet.
It has pink numerals and indices placed in a raised track of sorts along
with a tachymeter, telemeter and other meters, all in fine colored print
around the edge. Measures 38 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 45 mm long x 12.5 mm thick.

Awesome Early LeCoultre SS Hand
Wind
Serviced
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. Boy, this is a real honey and the only thing
not perfect about it is that the size is mid-sized, not larger like this
one we just sold recently...click
here. Housed in a signed, three piece steel case which has been
lightly buffed but still shows much of the original brushed finish seen
on the sides of the middle body, for example. No corrosion or rust which
we see on older steel watches often. Easy to grip crown is a replacement
as is the acrylic crystal. Wayne has also fully serviced, oiled and
timed the LeCoultre in-house Caliber 450/3A hand winding movement
and it is a real stunner. I should've taken a pic of it before he sealed
it up. It comes with a rare one year warranty which is sweet for such an
old watch. Pick your own nice Hadley Roma
or other strap from our accessories page if you don't like the Gator
style in light brown seen in the photos but it goes with this fantastic
original tan military style dial really well. Speaking of the dial, this
one is what I look for in vintage, evenly aged original dials. Lots of
character in that it has aged and darkened but is almost un-used or
damaged in any way, including the original hands. There is a little dark
smudging or spotting between the 15 and 16 and just outside the 3 and
4pm radium Arabic numerals. I'll be sorry to see this fantastic example
of a 1940's LeCoultre go. Measures 31 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 39 mm long x 11 mm thick.

Lottermann and Soehne Blancier "No. 10"
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. Pre-owned steel watch made in Germany.
Gorgeous hand wound movement is a modification of a Swiss made Cortebert
design by Molnija. It has beautiful blued screws, shock protection, a 42
hour power reserve, 18 jewels and 18,000 bph (beats per hour). It runs
great and has no major sign of age or abuse. Couple of near invisible scuffs
and nicks on
the bezel. We sold this a couple of years ago to a good client who is
trading it in. He wore it about once or twice a week and got a lot of
comments apparently. I've never seen one, to be honest and the movement
is certainly a sweet piece of work and easily seen through the back. Measures 42 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 53 mm long x 11 mm thick.

and the rest of the watch is just gorgeous overall. Original and perfect
slightly domed glass crystal, near mint solid gold case and immaculate,
recently serviced 19j Hamilton Masterpiece Caliber 982. Click on the

crocodile strap with a gold plated deployant buckle is attached. It
comes in the correct Bakelite Hamilton box for this model although the

Rare 1920's Silver Tiffany and Company Wrist Watch
Description:
GOOD condition. Very rare 1920's triple signed Tiffany
wrist watch. Perfect porcelain dial and nice high grade Swiss movement
(probably IWC, Agassiz or some other well known maker) although the
nickel finish appears washed out some (dull in brightness) from almost
100 years of servicing. The case is in good shape but does have a few
dings in the hinged back which is also signed and does have an engraving
of initials on it. Its been buffed quite a bit (the whole case). I would
be comfortable charging double for this watch in a fancy shop or if the
condition was slightly better. As it is I think this is a good price.
Add $75 for service although it runs fine and comes from a collector who
takes care of his watches. The crystal is glass and if you look closely
you might see some discoloration where the crystal fits into the bezel.
This is just old glue from the last time the watch had service or the
crystal replaced. Silver will patina to black but not discolor in this
fashion/brown. The hinged wire lugs are affixed with a special but brand
new open ended Hirsch strap made for this kind of watch. Original crown
too in my opinion. Measures 31 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40ish mm long x 10 mm thick.

Expensive Two Tone Concord Mariner SG w/Diamonds
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. Sweet dress watch by a fine Swiss maker.
Steel and gold with a solid gold bezel and thin gold bars between the
links of the bracelet. There are about 80 small diamonds in the bezel
and a dozen on the original mint gold dial. There are a few scuffs
on the bracelet and a tool mark or two on the back and the watch has
been to our watchmaker for a full check up and brand new battery.
Concord signed quartz movement. Open gold cartouche on the steel fold
over clasp. These usually have a C in them for Concord but someone must
have replaced this one with the idea of putting their own initial on it
and we can do that for you at no charge if you like. The length of the
entire watch is about 7 and 1/2 inches but it is too small for my 7 and
5/8ths inch wrist by at least 1/2 inch so my guess is that it fits a 7
to 7 and 1/4 inch wrist and it does have a couple of increments on the
clasp and some links can be removed. Very expensive when new costing
thousands I am sure. Very classy, thin and heavy dress watch. Measures 33.5
mm wide (not including the crown) x 34.5 mm long x 6 mm thick.

Title: Sweet Un-Issued
Czech Military on Bund Strap
Serviced
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. Although the dial is original on this cool
old military Eterna, the numbers look like they have been re-lumed
but several years ago, not recently. We have fully serviced, oiled
and timed the in-house Eterna L-852S hand wound, anti-magnetic and
shock protected movement and added new hands, crown, gaskets and the
Bund strap. And it comes with a one year service warranty. As a result
of the new gaskets, it is what I call a tight winder but very water and
dust resistant. This a a late 1930's or early 1940's un-issued popular
Czechoslovakian military wrist watch. Longines, Eterna and Lemania all
made versions of this, some with no second hand, some with subsidiary
seconds and some with center seconds. This is a center second version
that has no second hand pinion or corresponding gear on the back plate. It is not uncommon to find this in old
military watches as they had different applications. The watch wasn't
broken, but instead sold or altered to be a no second watch. This watch sells
for $1200 and up when all original and the Longines go for 2k and more.
Just look on ebay which is a wholesale market for the most part. 22 mm
lug width with traditional, not fixed spring bars. We've also shown it
with a new thick Glycine leather strap and you can choose either, or
both if you wish. The Bund is similar to what would have been issued
with it or maybe long one piece canvas might have been on it. We can
probably change the hands too if you don't like these. Measures 38 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 48 mm long x 13 mm thick.

Rare 1928 Two Tone WGF/YGF Illinois Major
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Rare case style with the middle body yellow
gold filled and the snap on engraved bezel and back white gold filled
material. Learn about
gold filled cases
<HERE>. Some wear on the tips of the lugs which you can
see as darker base metal (usually brass). Not as noticeable to the naked
eye as these close-up photos show. Caught myself staring at it, turning
it over and realized that it is almost near mint at a foot away from my
eyes. The dial was refinished previously with a striking salmon/copper
and yellow exploding numeral motif common and rare for this Major, Circa
1928. Check out the movement by clicking on the photo to the left for
the close-ups. Gorgeous and in great shape too according to Wayne the
watchmaker who has checked it over and regulated it for accuracy. It has
nice raised jewel settings held in place with screws, cross hatch
demaskeening, patent regulator, 17 jewels, gold wheel train, bi-metallic
split screw balance and unbelievable condition. If you know anything
about Illinois watches, then you know that finding one with a nearmint
movement is pretty tough. No scratches, scuffs, burr marks on screw
heads or washout seen. Except for the wear on the lug tips this watch is
in fine condition. Glass crystal and perfect fitting bezel and back. No
sign of major age on the white gold filled back. This is a striking
watch on the wrist and I don't think you will see another one anytime
soon. A brand new Hadley Roma dark brown dress strap is attached. Measures 31

Title: Affordable Mid or
Small Sized Tissot Three Register Vintage Chronograph
AS FOUND
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Nice unusual size which has been buffed a
couple of times and still has some scuffs. I'll see if Wayne can give it
a light buff. About 34 mm which is not small for a vintage watch but
slightly small for a 1960's water proof, three register style. Beautiful
original black, white, red and blue dial with a Tachymeter in red.
The tachymeter or fine numbering in red from
1000 to 60, clockwise is used to measure speed traveling one mile (try
it from mile marker to marker on the highway, for instance if it takes
you 55 seconds the hand will stop just left of 65 on the tachymeter
which indicates that you averaged 65.5 mph in that mile). Original hands and lum too. The blue part is probably a
5 minute yacht timer. Signed screw on back with a 40502-8X reference
number. Lemania Caliber 1281, Incabloc shock protected Swiss made Tissot
signed hand wound chronograph movement has a serial number of 2.422.653
and runs great, keeping good time.
Signed original crown. A brand new
Hadley Roma black leather strap with
