Title: Sweet 25j Ball Official RR Standard Trainmaster, Ca. 1960's Description: EXCELLENT condition. It is hard not to like a vintage time piece with a dial like this and all the attributes of modern automatic watches. The Ball movement (ETA 2632) has a full winding rotor, 25 jewels, Incabloc shock protection, hack setting with easy to see red second hand, springless double click wheel (Eterna patent), one piece screwless balance beating 21,600 times per hour and a long running reserve. I'm pretty sure that the modern ETA movement we all see in practically every watch made these days, cannot offer much more as far a functionality or technical innovations. Pristine mint plus original dial which many think is porcelain like the old pocket watch dials but in fact is just a really high grade glossy white and black paint. You just have to own a Ball Trainmaster before you can appreciate why they are so popular. All steel case was definitely used by the owner who also has his initials on the back RSB. So, even though we've lightly buffed the case the scuffs and nicks from original use are still evident. Wayne has gone through the movement checking it for problems, dirt and regulated it for accurate timekeeping. The crown is a modern replacement as is the crystal, both new. Wayne has also added new gaskets and noted the Ball signed case reference #842347. On a brand new Hadley Roma MS 882 padded Breitling style black leather strap. Measures 34.5 mm wide (not including the crown) x 40 mm long x 10.5 mm thick. {$479} Item #6027 SOLD
