Title: Stainless Steel Mido Multifort
Description: A very
good looking older refinished dial and the original Mido crown. The overall condition is
excellent. Mido incorporated natural cork as a sealant around the stem
and crown. The second any moisture touches the cork it expands,
completely sealing off the area. The bumper wind Mido Caliber 816
automatic is one of their earliest automatic movements, designed in
1939. It features a two spoke, Glucydur screw balance, Incabloc shock
resistance, Nivarox hairspring and an 18,000 bph. Measures 29 mm wide (not including the crown) x
36 mm long x 12 mm thick.
