Hard to Find Thin Benrus Automatic Description: EXCELLENT/NEARMINT condition. Marked 7026 series on the back along with waterproof, dustproof, self-winding and stainless steel. Original dial, crown and and finish on the superb one piece, Swiss made stainless steel Benrus case. If you want to specialize in a niche of the vintage watch market I would suggest this genre. Although it fits into others, I am referring to 1950's and 60's monocoque (meaning one piece shell or exterior, uni-body) and almost always waterproof, steel automatic dress watches. A no date automatic is nice too and possibly a line to follow and of course, thin manual wind watches and thin automatic vintage watches (or new for that matter) always carry premium prices. The Benrus Caliber 2D1 aka ETA 2451 has 17 jewels, shock protection, 40 hour power reserve, 18,000 beats per hour or bph. It is a full rotor automatic made in the late 1950's and has been checked out and regulated by Wayne our watchmaker. Measures 34.8 mm wide (not including the crown) x 41 mm long x 10 x 6 mm thick, including the acrylic crystal. {$249} Item #6212 SOLD
