Title: Large 21J Fancy Lug Elgin "Black Knight"
Description: EXCELLENT condition. Very large and very cool. Textured dial is very nice and original. The high grade Elgin Caliber 556 movement is keeping good time, has 21 jewels and has been completely gone over and regulated by our watchmaker. It is marked adjusted to temperatures and positions. American movements which are marked "adjusted" are similar to Swiss made chronometer grade movements in their finish and excellent timekeeping abilities. He has also installed a brand new acrylic crystal. The serial number dates this cool Batman style watch to the early 1950's. A brand new $54 Hadley Roma 17 mm lizard skin strap is attached. The yellow gold filled case has been lightly buffed but it does still show some faint nicks on the bezel, just over the cool stylized 12 and a scratch on that same lug. Measures 27 mm wide (not including the crown) x 40 mm long x 10 mm thick. {$269} Item #5568
