Title: Rare Blue Enamel Dial Elgin Pocket Watch Description: GOOD condition. Hard to find in nice shape or at all and usually very expensive. Fancy glass dial has bright powder blue in the center, darker blue minute numerals around the edge, gold and black. Superb in person to look at with no hairlines easily visible. It does have several hairline cracks though and thus the reduced price. Still a great price for an 16 size early American made pocket watch. The gold filled case is nicely engraved and in good condition with no wear through. Original glass crystal. Made in about 1888. The 11j to 7j Elgin movement has pretty blued screws and a safety pinion. The bow is solid gold and does show some wear. Measures 35.5 mm wide (not including the crown) x 42 mm long x 12 mm thick. {$275} Item #4989 SOLD
