Title: 18k Pink Gold Breitling Premier with Black Dial
Description: EXCELLENT condition. A rare and beautiful timepiece from the 1940's. The original black dial is almost perfect. It is just about a good as you can get for a 60 year old watch. The case is also in very very nice condition. One measure of wear is to look at the back where the watchmaker's knife blade is inserted. You are able to see in the close-up shots that it has little wear in that area. There are no dents, dings, scuffs, scratches or sign of wear what so ever. It has been buffed lightly by our watchmaker. The movement (Venus Caliber 175) is in good shape according to our watchmaker and the chronograph hand re-sets/stops to the 10th second perfectly. Purchased from an astute collector, vintage gold Breitling chronographs have just about completely disappeared from the market. Supply has shrunk, especially with extra nice examples. This nice 18k pink gold watch is not thin or "tin can" like we call some typical gold chronos of this era.
