Title: Bulova Spaceview Accutron Circa 1964 Description: VERYGOOD condition. From the original owner, not a watch collector or dealer. I have not checked the case number but I believe that this is an original spaceview, not a conversion. It runs great and has light wear including some scuffs on the original spaceview crystal. Bulova Accutron watches were the first electric or battery operated time pieces, along with the Hamilton electric and they were extremely expensive and unique in their day and still are. Using a tuning fork for the important part Bulova avoided timing problems caused by the traditional balance wheel which the Hamilton Electrics still used. Nice shape with average wear on the yellow gold filled case. This watch has a high pitched whine which is the fork. A new Hadley Roma strap is attached. Measures 34 mm wide (not including the crown) x 40 mm long x 12 mm thick. {$325} Item #5245 SOLD
