Title: Wonderful 1968 Stainless Steel Bulova Accutron Description: EXCELLENT condition. Most dealers would call this nearmint. It is just really nice with the finest 214 original dial have have seen in some time. It is silvered with superb original minute track and tiny lightly aged lum dots. The hands are original too with matching, lightly aged luminescent material. My watchmaker Wayne has gone through this watch and I purchased it only because it keeps excellent time (generally I avoid Accutrons). After two weeks I have seen no error or discrepancy from our atomic clocks. Less than one second a day from what I can see. Bulova Accutron watches were one of the very first battery watches made and the method used is tiny coils, a transistor and a steel tuning fork which vibrates at a consistent rate. All steel with a new battery installed. This watch is set on the back (Caliber 214). Very attractive timepiece from the 1960's in superb condition! A brand new Hadley Roma 881 oil tan strap with a stainless steel buckle is attached. Measures 35 mm wide (not including the crown) x 39 mm long x 13 mm thick. {$260} Item #5375 SOLD
