Chronographe Suisse (Butte Watch Co.)
GOOD condition, one owner.
From an estate on one owner this 1950 or earlier Swiss made flat pusher 30 minute recorder and with blue 1000 meter tachometer meter on the outer edge has some wear on the lugs and chrome body but is a great watch for the money. The 30 minute counter is at 3 and has extra long hash marks (indices) at 3,6 and 9 minutes, for phone calls. Useful info when dating a somewhat unknown vintage chrono.
Checked and regulated by Wayne the watchmaker. Movement and case signed Butte Watch Co. A 13 3/4 Ligne 17j Landeron 59 movement in perfect working condition. Original evenly aged dial is quite nice to look at in person (better than these photos show) with all of the radium Arabic numerals intact and the original hands including the minute hand with the lum material half missing. The snap back, snap on bezel case is chrome plated except for the steel Swiss made back which is signed by the manufacturer.Measures 34 mm wide (not including the crown) x 40 mm long x 12 mm thick.
