Title: WW II German Military Issue Dogma Description: EXCELLENT condition. The case of this watch is really perfect with no damage or wear at all. It might have been reconditioned in the past. The dial is original and the hands are missing the luminescent material. The shock protected hand wound A. Schild Caliber 1130 hand wound movement is perfect, correct for the era and signed Dogma on the winding wheel. The screw on back of this watch has Stahlboden which means steel back and the correct D plus military serial number. D stands for Dienstuhr which means Servicewatch. Most German military watches have both the D and H for Heer which is German Army. Some speculate that the watches only marked with a D were for the Luftwaffe. It is unusual to find this type with only the D marking (ref. Ulric of England). It is attached to a nice new Bund strap. Measures 34.5 mm wide (not including the crown) x 41 mm long x 13 mm thick. {$445} Item #4619 SOLD
