Title: Beautiful New Old Stock Steel Formed Case Doxa Tank
Description:
NEARMINT condition. Most dealers would certainly call this mint
but although this watch was never sold it has been in a dealers case or
two and does have some superficial scuffs. All original and striking to
see in my opinion. This is a hand wound watch made in Switzerland during
the 1930's. It is small (note the dimensions) but was made for a man
even though either sex could wear this piece. Formed case watches from
the 30's are rare as steel is difficult to work in this fashion. Don't
overlook this piece as it's horological importance and rarity is
significant. A beautiful French made black lizard strap is included. Measures 19.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 36 mm long x 9 mm thick.
