Description: EXCELLENT condition. Savvy pocket watch collectors know that early E. Howard watches are very rare in their original cases. The master gold smiths and case makers at Western Watch Case Co. or W.W.C. Co. manufactured this exquisite multi-colored gold case. It is in superb condition with only minor signs of light wear. The front cover is strong and opens perfectly at 90 degrees. The cartouche is unsigned. The back has a big fat white diamond and it snaps perfectly in place and is without flaw as is the cuvette/dust cover. It weighs over 150 grams with the movement and the large bow is the original gold bow and shows light wear on the underside where the owner's watch chain attached. The fancy flowers, leaves and other decorations on the outside of the case are blue, dark yellow, green and pink. The N series movement is extremely attractive with its raised cupped gold jewel settings and blue screws, some of which hold the settings in place and is running strong, keeping good time.
