Title: Nice RR Grade 21j Elgin BW Raymond Description: GOOD/VERYGOOD condition. A beautiful old RR grade watch which was worn enough to possibly have been a good service watch for a conductor as there is brassing on the back of the S.W.C. Co. Elgin RR (marked on the neck) 20 year yellow gold filled case and a small ding. The 29 mil serial number of the nickel plated movement dates it to about 1926. It has some tiny little spots and super faint scuffs and wash out (fading) of the finish also called bright work by the old timers. The split bi-metallic screw balance has good motion. The gold jewel settings are flush, highlighting a gorgeous 21 jewel movement. Extra nice single sunk porcelain Montgomery dial has a chip above the subsidiary seconds bit. No other cracks or sign of age. Overall a fantastic looking affordable pocket watch. Also has a nice new acrylic crystal. Measures 50 mm wide. {$249} Item #6161
