The Eterna-matic 3000 continued to make revolutionary achievements with its 1453 series. It was the thinnest center second w/date automatic in the world when made, ca. 1962. The watch is only 5 mm thick, not including the acrylic crystal. This is a Caliber 1455 U which has 21 jewels, a bi-directional ball bearing rotor, Glucydur screwless balance, Nivarox hairspring, patented Eterna U-shock resistance, 18,000 bph, 50 hour power reserve and fine regulator adjustment. The crown has been replaced. One of our finest Hadley Roma straps is attached. It is one of The Collection series HR2000 retailing for $49.95.
