Fake Omega Often seen on EBay and other Venues I call this a "put together" Old components with new for a wearable (these usually don't run that great btw) non-Historical watch These are old pocket watch movements re-fitted with new cases, dials, hands, stem and crown. Sold in eastern Europe and probably made there in addition to Asian countries. This model was found at a gun and knife show on the east coast and is a bit of an accident with a Perfecta movement, not Omega. Old Omega pw movements are not hard to find but the watches are large and interesting. $350 to $650 is the going price depending on size and brand. IWC, Patek and others are popular but I consider these novelty watches for wearing if the price is right, I guess. And you have extra dough. A dealer on the bay is selling Hamilton 4992B pw movements re-cased as wrist watches for 5k each. Not what I would consider a good buy.
