Rare and Unusual One Piece Heavy Glycine Vacuum

This is the second series of Vacuum watches created by Glycine in the 1960's. This #2 model is different from the Glycine I. In addition to having no removable back there is no removable bezel. The only parts to the case are the two solid 18k yellow gold crystal clamps. These are affixed to the bezel by long screws which extend through the case into the space between the lugs. The original steel waterproof crown incorporates a triple "O-ring" waterproof system. The thick beveled crystal is one of the first ever sapphire (Wayne and I think). The hands are extremely unique having the appearance of a two pronged (minute hand) and three pronged (hour hand ) fork. You can see through them. The Swiss made automatic Glycine high beat movement features a screwless Glucydur balance, Nivarox hairspring, Incabloc shock resistance,  23 jewels and a 40 hour power reserve. A brand new Hadley Roma MS 822 genuine crocodile strap is attached.
