Title: Rare Arched Gruen Curvex with Rarer Original Glass Crystal
Description: EXCELLENT condition. Some light wear on the back edges of the lugs and on the outside bottom lug tips. This wear is just visible to a trained eye without a loupe and does affect value somewhat. Unless you don't grade watches, like some dealers. Avoid those at all costs as condition is more important, the more you spend. Perfect original dial will blow you away and a rarer than rare original multi faceted, beveled, chamfordedd'dd, scalloped glass crystal. I'm at a loss for words concerning this crystal. I am really unsure how it was made but the skill level had to be unbelievable. It is normally shaped at the top with a drop both ways, N-S and E-W, if that makes sense. Then you can see it drops quickly and flares out to end up perfectly flush with the case at both ends, between the lugs. The sides drop in concert with the shaped edge of the case. Wayne has checked over, gone through and regulated the Gruen Caliber 370 hand wound movement. Serial number C367458, Case Reference number L378209, 370-650.
