Title: Beautiful Long 14k Pink Gold Hamilton Tank w/Diamonds Serviced
Description: EXCELLENT condition. 1940's, long, gold and very pink. The pink gold case is marked 14k but not Hamilton (this is common for this genre of Hamilton "contract" cases)/case designs. It rates about 90% with a few very small dings and nicks. Pink unsigned crown. The dial has 15 diamonds and looks original but it may have been refinished some time ago as it shows age and rates about 85%. Original hands including the white subsidiary seconds hand which may have been done for a doctor to easily read a patients pulse. The 17j American made Hamilton 980 Cal hand wound movement has been fully serviced, oiled and timed. This are popular vintage watches purchased by the elite during the 40's and they are still one of the most collectible American wristwatches of the period. The similar Hamilton Top Hat models sell for $1500 and up! Measures 21 mm wide (not including the crown) x 40 mm long x 10 mm thick. {$875} Item #3685 SOLD AJG
