Title: Hamilton 4992B, 24hr Military Issue w/Original Canister
Description: EXCELLENT condition. A fantastic watch to own and invest in as they are still somewhat unknown and reasonably priced. Can't go wrong with the aesthetics either. Just look at the fine workmanship of the American made 22 jewel movement by clicking on the image to the left. Watch making did not get much better than in this era (1952). True 24hr movement makes one revolution per day and has a center second which is rare in pocket watches. All original with little wear but some smoothness on the US military marked base metal screw back, screw bezel case. Heavy iron canister has felt pad suspended in springs to softly hold the watch and shield from magnetic influence. Runs great and is a pleasure to own, display and even carry.
