Nice Hamilton CLD Nordon
Description: GOOD condition. Some wear of the 10k gold filled case is seen on the tops and back edges of the lugs and lots of scuffs too. Lightly buffed by Wayne our watchmaker and also gone through for evaluation and regulation. The American made Hamilton Caliber 748 hand wound movement has 18 jewels and is extremely high grade quality. The original dial is evenly aged and looks better in person than these blow up photos reveal. The crystal is a thin new acrylic which is almost flush with the bezel, a nice upgrade as most vintage watches do not have the clearance for a lower profile crystal like this. Center second watches are a bit more complicated than sub second and demand a few more bucks usually. A new thick brown leather strap is included. Normally a dust and water resistant case (bowl shaped design), this one has been gotten into several times over the last half century and is less resistant than one in better condition, just fyi. Measures 29.5 mm wide (not including the crown) x 37 mm long x 10 mm thick. {$145} Item #5995 SOLD
