Description: GOOD/VERYGOOD condition. Not many pocket watches have cases where you can see inside them without opening or removing the back. Sometimes called salesmen's cases these are not often original to the watch but used in a jewelers shop to easily show the beauty of the movement. Sweet single sunk porcelain dial has no hairline cracks. The hands are mismatched but both crystals are expensive beveled glass. The 17j movement is real nice looking with fancy demaskeening (light engraving), fancy regulator, blue screws, jewel settings held in place with screws, large screw balance and a safety pinion. One caveat for the watch is that it is a lever set and normally would have been housed in a hunter case or closed case. You remove the bezel and pull out the lever at four to set the watch, turning the crown to move the hands and then push the lever back in and replace the snap on bezel.
