Title: 18s Illinois Circa 1916

Description: GOOD condition. A wonderful and affordable vintage timepiece from almost 100 years ago. Near perfect single sunk porcelain dial is really a miniature work of art. Large black Arabic numerals on white glass with on small hairline crack between the 7 and 8. No chips along the edge which is nice. This is a lever set watch which means the screw on bezel must be removed to set the time. This safety measure insured that the watch was not accidentally set to the wrong time. Some light brassing on the gold filled case. The 17j movement is gorgeous and in great shape with screwed in jewel settings, a fancy regulator and Geneva stripes. Good balance with the large screw balance. Acrylic crystal. Measures 54 mm in diameter x 18 mm thick. {$185} Item #5454 SOLD
