 One of the prettiest rail road grade watches for the money, this gorgeous American made pocket watch is lever set, like all RR grade pocket watches. One has to unscrew the bezel, pull the lever out horizontally to the dial, set hands with stem (don't pull out) and push lever back in, replacing bezel. Nice thin beveled glass crystal in this one. Perfect, mint double sunk RR dial is a real beauty with easy to read large black Arabic numerals. RR dials in perfect condition can bring $200 and more all by themselves. A fantastically beautiful 3/4 plate, fancily damaskeened nickel plated movement also features large pink gold jewel settings, pink gold wheel train, large bi-metallic split screw balance with gold balance screws, swan's neck fancy regulator and a double roller. It has a tiny bit of color/corrosion on the mainspring wheel and winding wheel. The 20 year yellow gold filled case is marked S.W.C. Co. and has light pocket wear and smoothness. There is also a tiny ding in the back which screws on just like the bezel. No brass showing.
