Title: Rare 24hr Longines GCT 21.29 w/Up Down Wind Indicator
Description: EXCELLENT condition. Sweet! I wish I didn't have to sell this rare and beautiful Swiss made pocket watch. Large in a signed steel case which is unusual as most I've seen have cheap base metal military contract cases. All original with some black spots on the dial near the center pinion. Superb high grade 21 jewel, adjusted movement which tells military or 24hr time, not normal 12 hr time like most watches. Long center second hand is also unusual in pocket watches. Wind indicator above the GCT is rare in any pocket watch and American wind indicators sell for 1k and up. Beautiful high grade movement has a fancy regulator, cap jewels, gold settings held in place with screws, oversized screw balance, polished escape wheel bridge and other advantages I have probably overlooked. It keeps excellent time. Made in the early 1050's. Hacks also (second hand stops for setting). Original thin glass crystal. Measures 54 mm wide (not including the crown) x 20 mm thick. {$1075} Item #5206
