Title: Rare Formed Stepped Case Longines Circa 1938 Serviced Description: GOOD condition. Really rare steel formed case design and similar to some very expensive brands from the time. Made in the late 1930's. The price is very low but that is because of some corrosion on the back which is marked Boden Edelstahl or "ground high-grade steel" but not signed Longines. See our close-up photos below. This watch will be fine as long as you don't get sweaty while wearing it. The gorgeous Longines Caliber 25.17 Swiss made movement keeps great time and has been fully serviced, oiled and timed by Wayne the watchmaker and we have had the dial refinished by a good company in Canada and it looks really sharp. A new slightly domed crystal is also part of the refurbish and an open ended pigskin strap is attached. A fantastic rare form by a high grade manufacturer at a bargain price. Measures 22.5 mm wide (not including the crown) x 35 mm long x 8.5 mm thick. {$290} Item #5564 SOLD
