Title: Extra Nice SS Mido Multifort Automatic "Mackenzie I"
Description: NEARMINT condition. Sweet museum quality watch, formerly in my personal collection with a mint plus original dial to die for with matching original hands (you have to see this color and hue in person to appreciate it) the original box, pamphlets, and paper work. Light scuffs mostly buffed out by Wayne. One noticeable nick on the lug at 2 but only to an expert, otherwise I wouldn't call this a nearmint watch as the term is over used. It is truly in almost un-touched condition. Heavy screw back has professional inscription, "My Love, To You Fran, On Our 25th Anniv., Stella". That provenance matches the warranty card as does the reference number 6095 which is stamped heavily between the lugs. Made in about 1960 or 1961 and presented to Fran in 1962. On a brand new Hadley Roma dark dark brown leather sport strap with a steel buckle. I also have some new old stock Mido steel bracelets which fit but were probably made for a later model. This is the larger Multifort version but still only measures 33 mm wide (not including the crown) x 39 mm long x 12 mm thick. Wayne has gone through the watch and installed a new acrylic crystal. The original signed crown is recessed but the movement kicks the balance/second hand into action fairly easily with any action or movement. {$469} Item #6029
