Title: Beautiful Stainless Steel Vintage Omega Century Serviced Description: EXCELLENT/NEARMINT condition. Rare 16j Omega hand wound Caliber 30T2-SC Swiss made movement has a pretty pink gold wheel train and was serviced by the watch restorer a few years ago when the last owner, a collector of top condition watches, purchased it. It was made in about 1944 during WW II when steel was hard to get and good watches for civilians not so common. The Ref. #10567146 Omega signed back snaps in place and has some pitting on one edge between the lugs. The middle body does also but not the inner lip or seal. This has all been cleaned up by the company who refurbished the watch and not easily visible without looking real close. It may effect water proofedness but the style is not very water proof anyway although this case has a fancy curved stem area and is probably sealed in the crown/stem area. The nice black dial is a refinish and was also done by the watch restorer. The indices are yellow while the hands are white or silver in color. Nice large crown is easy to grip. I believe this is the correct case and movement for a Century but since the dial has been refinished I need to do a little more research. Some of my Omega customers may write and let me know before long so I'll update. A brand new black Hadley Roma genuine square grain Alligator strap is attached with a brand new authentic Omega stainless steel buckle. A millimeter or two larger than most hand wound versions from this age, measuring 35 mm wide (not including the crown) x 42 mm long x 12 mm thick. {$975} Item #5832
