Title: Extra Nice 1973 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date
Description: EXCELLENT condition. Formerly the property of a local collector. Beautiful Reference 1500 Swiss made automatic water and dust proof oyster cased Rolex in very nice condition. Plenty of small nicks and scuffs but no sign of dealer over buffing, if buffed at all. Signed Rolex screw down crown, non-quick set Rolex 26 jewel Caliber 1570 full rotor automatic movement and Ref. 78350, 19 mm oyster bracelet. The clasp has obvious signs of buffing and some small dents on the sides (of the clasp). Could be the collector who owned this put the spring link in. A special link has been added to go over the hand but the bracelet still fits a 7 and 1/2 inch wrist but just goes on easier. Bracelet does have 12 original links. The acrylic crystal is in excellent condition. This model circulated just before the price boom and probably sold for about $320 new. Today's watches start at about 5k in steel, more in two tone or gold. Measures 35 mm wide (not including the crown) x 42 mm long x 12 mm thick. {$1675} Item #5141
