Title: 1980's 18k/Stainless Steel Rolex Quick Set Date
Description: VERYGOOD condition. A last hold out for affordable Rolex models. This is a reference 15053 which is a transitional model between the older plastic non-quick to the sapphire quick-sets. This is a plastic/acrylic crystal quick set 8 million serial number which dates it to about 1985 just before the sapphire models came out. All original with the proper jubilee bracelet and correct clasp although that has been buffed, the clasp. Slightly loose which is a term used to describe Rolex bracelets. When new they are tight and stiff. The watch head is near perfect with a gold crown and engine turned bezel but no scratches or major nicks that I can find. Mint original dial. A gorgeous watch keeping good time and will fit a 7 and 1/2 inch wrist just barely and any size smaller. PS. These have wonderful 26 jewel chronometer grade movements, Caliber 3035. Measures 35 mm wide (not including the crown) x 42 mm long x 13 mm thick. {$1595} Item #5298
