Title: Hard to Find Roamer Stingray Chrono Serviced Description: GOOD/VERYGOOD condition. This is a very popular 1960's vintage chronograph and diver which was often purchased for use in the workplace, sometimes called a tool watch. So, most got used up and are not around any more or in bad condition. Even though this does not have a screw down crown the waterproofing system was very efficient and this particular watch has just been pressure checked and serviced by the last owner's watchmaker. He (the watchmaker) was surprised that the case was so waterproof. For me personally, my expensive watches don't go in the water for fear of leakage, even if waterproof and I can't guarantee this to be waterproof but I doubt it will fog up like some vintage watches do if they get wet or get in the rain even. Refurbished some years ago, I believe from what I can see on the case which looks very nice and has brushed finish on three sides and the top. The Valjoux 7734 was recently serviced and works perfectly. The dial is perfect and original but I think the indices at each hour have been re-lumed. Maybe not, but the color is greenish and think it should be yellow, same color as the lum on the tips of the original hands. Tested at the factory for 400 feet depths and recently at 100 meters plus. I've put our Amro Sailcloth straps from Europe on it for your pleasure (or not). You can pick something else if you like. Measures 42 mm wide across the bezel (not including the crown) x 45 mm long x 13 mm thick. {$1175} Item #5911 HOLD
