Title: Early Seth Thomas From My Collection
Description: GOOD/VERYGOOD condition. With a 25k serial number this is the oldest Seth Thomas I've owned or seen. Made the second year of the company or 1886 this old watch has at least 15 jewels (I've counted them) including a cap stone on the balance staff. It is also marked "adjusted" under the balance and safety pinion. The overall appearance is really nice with this extra large screw back, screw bezel case and thick glass crystal. Also, the single sunk porcelain dial is magnificent with Roman numerals and no hairline cracks. This is a lever set 18s pocket watch. Measures 59 mm wide x 22 mm thick. {$329} Item #5557
