Title: Rare 14k White Gold Waltham Open Frame Serviced
Description: NEARMINT condition. This is a wonderful and rare watch. The shape, the condition for the age (1926), the size and the overall appearance all document the horological significance of a scarcely found (not the more popular Hamilton Piping Rock) American made Deco wristwatch. The hand crafted dial has painted Arabic numerals in gold and a subsidiary seconds bit at six. It has been professionally refinished. The solid gold case has a snap back, moving hinges and has been buffed lightly. It is in superb condition. This is one of Waltham's nicest movements with 15 ruby jewels, raised gold jewel settings and a screwed balance (18,000 bph/beats per hour). The nice new crown is not a perfect match but is large and easy to grip. Measures 26 mm wide (not including the crown) x 40 mm long x 9 mm thick. {$1875} Item #3198 SOLD
