Title: Rare Waltham Type A-17 Military Issue in Steel
Description: EXCELLENT condition. These watches are very popular with this special dial. They are also very hard to find, especially in good condition. Hardly a spot of wear on the three part steel case. The back and bezel have knurled edges and screw on to the middle body. I believe the crown is original or at least, from the era. The original dial is fantastic on this Korean War military timepiece and the movement, which is a hack set, made in the USA Waltham, has 17 jewels and is keeping good time. The canvas strap is appropriate for the times and may even be original as it is quite a bit different from what we see on these watches these days as replacements.
