Title: Cool And Unusual Illinois "Lakeshore" 100 Year Old American Pocket Watch Serviced Description: Very nice condition with a well used silverode (an alloy with some silver in it) "swing out" case and a fantastic double sunk porcelain dial. Rates about 90% with only one flaw, a hairline crack just right of the Roman numeral 12. Roman numeral pocket watch dials are popular and a bit unusual. Extra clean 17j American made movement (Model 6?) is adjusted, lever set (as a general rule RR grade watches are all lever set) and has a safety pinion (added value). Made in 1901 and with-out doing my research this caliber/model may have been RR approved for the time since the "standard" 16 size open face 21 jewel lever set watches not popularly used till the teens and twenties. Thick glass crystal. This is an 18 (large) size. Blued steel hands. Measures 58 mm wide and 20 mm thick. {$250} Item #WS16 SOLD WAB
