Title: Fine Vintage Beaded Bezel Breitling Navitimer, Ref. 806
AOPA Logo
Description:
NEARMINT condition. Believe it or not, this watch came from a
little old lady in Pasadena. She brought it into the shop of a
watchmaker friend a few years ago. He wore it for awhile then sold it.
What is special about this watch besides the provenance I've just
mentioned, is the condition. You may or may not know but many dealers
call buffed or refurbished watches nearmint. Once a watch, steel or
gold has been buffed, its original finish is lost forever. That is one
reason this fine Patek Philippe,
click here....sold for such a high price. Never buffed. Same here.
Never ever buffed. There are numerous micro fine scuffs, some light
scratches and a few tiny nicks. Most are visible only upon close
examination but the polished lug tops show these scuffs the clearest.
The rare beaded bezel rotates, and is in perfect condition. Steel
snap on back is marked 972431 on the inside, for collector reference.
806 on the outside of the back is the model number. As you can clearly
see in our photos, the AOPA dial matches the overall condition. With an old tool watch (used by pilots) of this type, finding a dial which looks
almost new is very difficult. Some specs of dirt can be seen on the
outside of the case in our
close-up photos as I've not cleaned the external portion. A damp cloth will
easily get it and I'll do that before shipment. But, you can also see
just how little wear it has. Look at the shot between the lugs. All
original. Nothing has been changed, exchanged or replaced. Except the
strap, of course. Comes on a brand new
Hadley Roma 886 but also has a
modern Breitling strap, well used and a Breitling steel buckle. Both were added
by the watchmaker who purchased it from the lady. That is the original box also which may come as a surprise
considering we all expect a square box these days. I will throw in a one
year warranty on the perfect pink Breitling (Venus Caliber 178) hand
wound movement and most of our customers already know
this but when anyone who has purchased a watch from us needs help, we do
it. Even if a long time has passed, after the sale. This large, rare and extra fine
sport chronograph measures 40 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 59 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Title: Cool Breitling Navitimer Jupiter Pilot w/Instruction
Manual
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. Scuffs, some light scratches and nicks too
but overall in nice shape. Not buffed. Checked out by Wayne and a new
battery added. How these watches work exactly was previously unknown by
any human (just kidding) as they are fairly complicated with chronograph
and timer functions, alarms, quick set date, low battery indicator, math
problems using the slide rule bezels, nautical and mile conversions,
distance of climb or descent, rate of climb or descent, gasoline
consumption, miles per minute, ground speed and on and on. Caliber B
233. On a brand new
Hadley Roma 886 strap which is
the exact strap Breitling uses on many of their strap watches. Measures 43
mm wide (including the
crown which is flush with the case) x 46 mm long x 11 mm thick.

Title: Rare 18k Yellow Gold Rolex Ovettone, Circa 1949
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. There are not many of these large watches on
the market from what I can see. It has been that way for some time as
astute collectors hold on to the rarest and most desirable pieces. One
of the reasons this watch is so popular is the monstrous case. For the
time, it was very large and even today, the size is pretty substantial.
They are heavy, tonneau shaped oyster cases (reference 6075 on inside
back and between lugs) with thick screw on backs and thin coin edge,
milled bezels. I say "they" as several different reference numbers and
models use this large gold oyster case. The star dialed triple date moon
phase sells for about 75k with an original dial and uses this exact case
design (reference #6062).
Original dials are more important then you could imagine when evaluating
market prices of the best collectables. Up to 30% of the total value in
my opinion can be attributed to original dials on valuable and rare
watches. This original gold dial has Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust in
fine original black print over the center pinion and Officially
Certified Chronometer under. Gold rimmed date window with alternating
red and black (original) date wheel. 18k gold applied arrow markers and
coronet. Thin line of lum thru the center of the original gold hands and
tiny luminescent dots on the outside of each indice. The finely detailed
minute chapter is slightly sunk and has a different hue, satin-ish. The
super oyster crown is signed and correct and most likely the original as
they are very rare. Some micro fine nicks on the bezel and other signs
of normal use like buffings/smoothness of edges and light loss of the
reference and serial numbers between the lugs. Wayne is going over this
watch for evaluation and it will come with a one year warranty on the
covered Rolex Auto Rotor movement. It is also on a brand new
Hadley Roma MS 2010 Caiman
Crocodile strap. Measures 36 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 44 mm long x 15 mm thick.

Title: Extra Nice RAF Omega 53' Thin Arrow
Serviced
Description:
NEARMINT condition. Refurbished in Bienne (Omega) with a signed
and probably new old stock Omega crown, easy to grip. Sweetly and
expertly buffed anti-magnetic and water proof Royal Air Force issue.
Heavy slotted back screws down. Anti-magnetic iron core helps protect
against anti-magnetism. Fully and properly marked. A new old stock Omega
thin arrow dial and hands and probably the signed acrylic crystal were
added. All told, almost $1000 cost to the previous owner. Comes with the
service/repair/restoration invoice which has matching serial and case
numbers and a new nylon one piece strap. Also has a certificate from
Omega with some cool facts and the same matching serial and case
reference numbers. The Thin Arrow model is the most popular model with
fewer made then the Fat Arrow examples. In my opinion, this is the
coolest Omega of its kind and it is down to the size, heft and thickness
of the case, the military provenance and the sweet, easy to read dials.
It is matte black with bright white Arabic numerals, radium dots and
white broad arrow skeleton radium hands. The long white center second
stands out easily. One of the rarest and most desirable vintage watches
on the market today. Measures 37.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 48 mm long x 14 mm thick.

Title:
New Old Stock One Owner Breitling Transocean
w/Extra Link
Description:
MINT condition. Some very faint scuffs seen with a loupe If
you look closely enough and some "wrist dirt" from a couple
years of light use. This watch has an extra link which was nearly
impossible to obtain and makes it large enough for a 7 and 1/2 to 7 and
5/8ths inch wrist. All
original. No box or papers. Purchased here at
WatchCat.com a couple of
years ago by a careful collector. The Transocean is one of the most beautiful
watches the company made, in my opinion. The dial is just fantastic in
all ways and unique with the color. As you can see by looking at our
close-up photos, this heavy steel water resistant chrono is well made
with cool pushers and an easy to grip "B" signed crown. This is a hand wound time piece,
using a Swiss made Breitling signed Valjoux 7740 movement which is in
mint condition and keeps good time. You know you are wearing a watch
when this is on your wrist and that is unusual in vintage watches. Measures 43 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 48 mm long x 14 mm thick.

Title: Beautiful Pre-Owned Modern 18k/SS Rolex Submariner
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. Pretty nice watch with little sign of wear
or use. Some, not a lot though. I can see some faint scuffs on the gold
center links if I look hard in the right light and one or two very faint
nicks down on the backside edge of the main body...that is about it.
Another way to judge condition on Rolex bracelet watches is to look at
the spot where the clasp and extension clasp rub the inside of the
bracelet. I've taken two extra photos of this area which barely shows a
rub mark. X serial number is around 1991. Sapphire quick set with no
edge chips, scrapes or scuffs on the crystal or any marks on the gold
bezel that I can see. The crown is nice and tight as is the bezel. Blue
dialed Subs are really gorgeous watches and very popular in the market
place. Bracelet is pretty tight also without much droop. See photo.
Click on the image to the left. Measures about 40 mm wide (not including the
crown, crown guard or bezel which sticks out over the edge of the main
body) x 48 mm long x 14 mm thick.

Title: Pre-Owned Full Size Omega Seamaster Professional Automatic Diver
Description:
EXCELLENT/NEARMINT condition. A little over four years in age/reference
2531-8000, this is one of the finest wearing watches made as far as I am concerned. Especially for the money.
It is the model Pierce Brosnan made popular in his James Bond movies and
I read that Omega may discontinue it which seems weird as the prices
just keep going up for both new and pre-owned. Pre-owned near mint
models used to sell for around $1400, we've sold quite a few. Check out
our pre-owned price guide
under "O". But, looking at other online sellers it seems $1800 is the
new pre-owned price. Made of heavy high grade steel the head and
bracelet
is super smooth and feels fantastic on the wrist. Sweet blue wavy dial, blue divers bezel which rotates
to time stuff, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, automatic quick set date
chronometer grade movement, screw down crown, helium escape
valve/crown and
all the original boxes, warranty cards, chronometer card/certificates
with matching serial numbers and instructions. Unopened and un-buffed. I can just
see some super fine scuffs on the clasp, few on the bracelet-very faint
and none on the brushed and polished head that I can find. Never buffed
so the original finish is intact. Fits my 7 and 5/8ths inch wrist just
right. I do have a Seamaster Pro bracelet if you need more links
but....not sure I want to poach those off of it as it will lose its
value. Branded links are hard to get for almost any company as just
about the only way to buy them is to walk into an authorized shop. I
have no sources for brand name bracelet links. Just FYI. Retail price for
this full size model is now up to $3200! Measures 42 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 48 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Title: Original Owner SS Jaeger
LeCoultre Grande Date 8 Day Reverso
Description:
NEARMINT condition. Sweet! Large and having a rare double wheel
big date, double mainspring Jaeger LeCoultre Caliber 875 movement on
display through the sapphire crystal back where you can see contrasting
blue screws, fancy Geneva stripes or plate decoration, cut-out area near
the center wheel and visible balance assembly. On the other side we see
a simple but beautiful engine turned dial with power wind indicator top
left. Made originally for active polo players who wanted to protect the
glass or crystal from damage or rough conditions and the famous flip
over construction is the result. I think that this watch retailed for 11
or 12k but I can't find any for sale so I know few are available. Wayne
lightly buffed some micro-fine scuffs from the case and there are one or
two faint nicks if you look real close but they are small. The largest
and most noticeable is that tiny mark just north of 11, near the top of
the main body of the case. The used JLC strap gives an idea of how much
the original owner used the watch. Year or two of use in total? The
original box and papers are marked 2005. A new Hadley Roma
Caiman MS 2012 strap is also
included and fits the original signed JLC deployant buckle. Not any
strap will fit it. The original used JLC strap also comes with this
watch. Wayne said that it is keeping superb time and has a fantastic and
impressive movement. Measures 29.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 47 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Hard to Find Roamer Stingray Chrono
Serviced
Description:
GOOD/VERYGOOD condition. This is a very popular 1960's vintage
chronograph and diver which was often purchased for use in the
workplace, sometimes called a tool watch. So, most got used up and are
not around any more or in bad condition. Even though this does not have
a screw down crown the waterproofing system was very efficient and this
particular watch has just been pressure checked and serviced by the last
owner's watchmaker. He (the watchmaker) was surprised that the case was
so waterproof. For me personally, my expensive watches don't go in the
water for fear of leakage, even if waterproof and I can't guarantee this
to be waterproof but I doubt it will fog up like some vintage watches do
if they get wet or get in the rain even. Refurbished some years ago, I
believe from what I can see on the case which looks very nice and has
brushed finish on three sides and the top. The Valjoux 7734 was
recently serviced and works perfectly. The dial is perfect and original
but I think the indices at each hour have been re-lumed. Maybe not, but
the color is greenish and think it should be yellow, same color as the
lum on the tips of the original hands. Tested at the factory for 400
feet depths and recently at 100 meters plus. I've put our
Amro Sailcloth straps from Europe
on it for your pleasure (or not). You can pick something else if you
like. Measures 42 mm wide across the bezel (not including the
crown) x 45 mm long x 13 mm thick.

Title: Beautiful
Blue Dialed SS Rolex Air-King, Circa 1982
Serviced
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Purchased from an estate and only owned by
the family, not collectors. Fantastic original blue dial is to die for
on a Rolex and I believe that is one reason why Air-King watches have
gone up in value. Also, the clean no-date dial configuration is
attractive and enjoyed by purists. The stainless steel oyster case is in
original unbuffed condition but it was used for many years so there are
nicks and scuffs. We notice the finish as original by looking at the
tops of the lugs and the small center portion of the back and the edges
of the transition areas. Wayne serviced this watch about 3 years ago
when our friend, the heir first received it. The jubilee bracelet is
correctly marked for a 19 mm jubilee bracelet at the time and these
watches along with most other models, including sport models, came with
jubilee bracelets. It is a reference 62510-H. It is a bit loose but
completely usable and is not worn enough to worry about longevity or
safety. I'll deduct $300 if you want the head only. It would look real
nice on a padded gator or croc strap. A quick search will show this
model for sale for much more most sites. Measures 34.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 40 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Rare 48' Hamilton Piping Rock
Serviced
Description: EXCELLENT condition. This watch is a hair short of new old stock
condition. Purchased from an estate and having one good sized scratch on
the back and a deep gouge on the side but with the original brushed
finish on the sides and very sharp edges (shows little to no buffing
over the years which rounds the edges and can make the hinges loose).
The 1948 version is two times the watch that the 28 Piping Rock is.
Extremely heavy and thick with super tight construction and very tight
hinged lugs. This later version also has a thick bowl shaped one piece
case rather than the usual snap on back. Enamel bezel is perfect and
original. Dial is original but with some light age. We can refinish if
you like at no extra cost but it will be awhile to get that done. This
has about 20 grams of gold which is a lot for a vintage piece. It also
carries a Hamilton 747 American movement which was one of their best.
Case #S644435. Serial #Y26481. Completely gone over by Wayne and in
superb condition, almost like new. In my opinion this is the finest
American made wristwatch ever produced, prior to 1969 when the last
company died. Installed is one of the finest American Alligator straps
we carry, a DeBeer Paris turned edge hand made in black with a $160
retail value. Comes with a one year service guarantee. If it ever needs
service, I'll do it for free. Also comes with a period Hamilton Bakelite
box in perfect condition, a $75 value. Measures 28.5 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 42 mm long x 8 mm thick.

Title: Hard to Find
Breitling Intruder
Serviced
Description: VERYGOOD/EXCELLENT condition. The Intruder is the last model in the Pluton
line which started in 1980 and was discontinued in 1999. Made for pilots
and very popular with the military, this cool analog and LCD alarm
chronograph watch has a rotating compass bezel with wind-rose
inscriptions and an inner compass bearing ring which is inside and goes
around the dial. It also does the alarm thing along with an hourly chime
if you like, some timing/chrono functions, a 24hr time and 2nd time zone
time. I believe this is all original, including the crown, slightly
scuffed thick crystal, hands, dial and of course the case. I've added
the signed Breitling steel buckle. Case reference #A51035-6142. The
Breitling B-232 movement has been gone through by Wayne and brought up
to snuff for every day wearing, including a new battery. The strap is a
new high grade German waterproof sharkskin, not Breitling. Screw down
crown. Reveil, seen under Chronographe on the bottom, means Alarm. These
are very collectable and this is the best model for sure, as the 1980's
versions were made of lower quality material and not as well designed.
Considered a modern watch since it is only 10 years old this can be
easily repaired and does not have some of the same problems that earlier
quartz watches may have. Measures 42-ish mm wide (not including the
crown) x 48 mm long x 12 mm thick.

ageing. Large steel case is fully marked as you can see in the larger
photos and is referenced #810, case #452780. That is a common ref. # but
this model is not represented in any of my books, literature, sales
records or old advertising. It has bee lightly polished and looks very
nice. The dial is original with dark dark lum inside the chrome indices
and hands. It has a telemeter, tachymeter and 60 second stop watch
chapter in the inside, just outside of the indices. The Breitling signed
hand wound chronograph movement has been fully serviced, oiled and
timed by Wayne the watchmaker and functions perfectly. This

Title: One Owner Breitling Super Ocean Steelfish Chronometer

Gorgeous Large 18k IWC Automatic

Description:
VERYGOOD condition. Way better original dial in person than our
super close-up photos show. I am looking at it now at 14 inches from my
face and can't see the little dark spots that are so visible in our photos. Just looks
evenly aged and lightly tan in color. Some buffing done on the case and
recently serviced by the previous owner IWC Caliber 852 has a cool
patented winding system just like this watch,
has been fully serviced by the previous owner. Wayne took a look and
proclaimed it to be real pretty and clean and running strong, keeping
good time. A little bit of research reveals that IWC only had a handful
of "in-house" automatic movements, starting in 1950 with the Caliber 81.
Then the improved Caliber 85 in the same year and soon after the most
efficient and robust, the Caliber 852 which is what this carries. That
model was used for years and had a date mechanism added later (Caliber
8521) and also was used in the first Engineers. It wasn't until 1958
that they updated to another with a slight improvement, the Caliber
853/8531 date. Some other features besides the Pellaton winding system
are 21 jewels, a jeweled bi-directional rotor, a self compensating
Breguet hairspring on the Glucydur two spoke screw balance, Incabloc
protects the balance staff from shock, 19,800 bph or beats per hour and
a 46 hour power reserve/mainspring. The case is signed as is the crown with the IWC fish. This
watch is all original, somewhat rare and should be considered an
heirloom multi-generational time piece which can be passed from the old
to the new, for ever. I like this
DeBeer $160 American Alligator skin strap which can be seen in the
photos but we can put whatever you prefer if you don't like it. Measures 34.5 mm wide (not including the

Sweet and Rare 1953 SS Omega Constellation
Serviced
Description:
EXCELLENT condition. This fantastic early chronometer grade Omega
Constellation has been completely refurbished by Wayne our watchmaker.
The 17j Omega, swan's neck fine regulation, Caliber 354 automatic bumper
wind movement has been fully serviced, oiled and timed and comes
with a one year service warranty. Wayne has also installed a brand new
acrylic crystal and seals for both the crown and the back. The steel
case has a water proof slotted screw back with a nice solid gold
observatory. The case reference #2652-7SC is one of two first generation
introductory Constellation models and as a screw back opposed to a
friction fitted or snap back which gives it a higher value as a water
proof model. Pretty sharp case condition even with a light buffing. One
of the ways to find age is to look inside and on the back of the lugs
for wear from bracelet contact. None here. Could have always had a strap
but from my experience most watches from the period were sold with
bracelets. The holed lugs are long and easy to change straps using a
paper clip to push out the spring bars. The dial is black and has been
refinished. We've been using (rarely) a quality dial refinisher in
Canada but I'm afraid he fouled this one up by not including all of the
original text. This was my watch, from my cabinets and the original dial
had the correct "chronometer, officially certified" text just below
Omega. Not sure why he dropped the ball on this one but I didn't notice
this until Wayne had finished his work. A refinished dial lowers the
value for astute collectors and honest dealers so my price reflects that
and the value from my perspective is attached to the overall aesthetics,
early model and fine condition. The crown is from old stock and in new
condition and is the correct style for this period, according to my
collection of advertising material. This model with a black cross hair
dial and no date is one of the most attractive watches Omega ever made
and it is also fairly large for the genre when many watches were 32 to
34 mm in diameter. A brand new Hadley Roma dark blue shark skin
(MS 2016) strap and a brand
new stainless steel genuine Omega buckle is attached. This rare early
model Connie is very collectable and when we can get them, they sell
very quickly. See this nice example which flew out of the shop within
days of listing. Click here.
It was item #5229, over 500 watches back and sold a year ago so as you
can see, our price for this nicer version in steel is very fair
especially considering how fast rare Omega watches have appreciated in
value recently. Measures 35 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 42 mm long x 11 mm thick.

Pristine Mint Three Register Breitling
Chronograph
Description:
PRISTINE MINT condition. Highly desirable Swiss chrono with a Valjoux
7736 hand wound movement which has not seen the light for many
years. 1970's round pusher, friction fit steel back which is fully
marked and has never been removed from the watch. Despite the age this
perfect "dress chronograph" runs great and actually keeps superb time.
All of the chrono functions work perfectly. The heavy gold plated body
is brushed with a thin polished bezel design around the dial. The gold
has darkened to a fantastic and unusual color. It is water resistant,
shock protected, anti-magnetic with stunning gold three register dial.
Chronograph features 60 second timer (long center second hand), thirty
minute timer (sub-dial at three) and 12 hour timer which is the dial at
six. The subsidiary dial at nine is the seconds hand which is normally
where the 60 second chronograph hand is on time only watches. Installed
with a high grade Hadley Roma (not original Breitling) genuine Croc
straps (made in America) in dark brown and although they are slightly
glossy they really highlight this magnificent chronograph. The crystal
is acrylic and can be buffed if scuffed or scratched. Measures 42 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 47 mm long x 14 mm thick.

Rare 1915 Sterling Silver Tiffany by Longines
Serviced
Description:
GOOD condition. This is a magnificent and rare early
Longines wrist watch, sold by Tiffany Circa 1915. The earliest wrist
watches ever made don't go back much further than this. Certainly a
fine, rare and unusual alternative to the usual vest pocket watch worn
by most gentlemen. In a gentlemen's square three piece sterling silver
snap back case with the original porcelain dial signed Tiffany and Co.
and Switzerland just above the subsidiary seconds bit which is at 6.
Near perfect but previously buffed signed case (see close up photos by
clicking on the image to the left) original silver cabochon crown and
cool new hands. The high grade hand wound Swiss made Longines Caliber
11.84N movement but does show light wash out where the nickel plating is
faded. This is caused by cleaning solutions. It has 3 adjustments and
also has been fully serviced, oiled and timed by our watchmaker.
This type of watch case although fairly tight in this example, is not a
type of case for water and dust resistance. In fact, my watchmaker
taught me that they are made to "breath" so that if a little moisture
enters, it can also exit when the environment equalizes. The original
spring bars with screws are also included along with a new brown watch
strap. Fantastic and rare time piece which could be worn by either a man
or a woman at this size. Perfect glass crystal. Comes with a one year
service warranty. Measures 29 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 35 mm long x mm thick.

VERYGOOD condition. Rare three register vintage steel Breitling
chronograph in great shape with an evenly aged original dial. Signed

collectable brand and vintage. Circa 1950-53 in my opinion (there is no
sure way to date these like serial numbers). Could be late 40's I
suppose. The crown looks like a replacement. Comes with a stunning Hadley Roma genuine

Title:
Rare and Collectable Glycine Airman 24hr Vintage Watch
Description:
VERYGOOD condition. This hard to find true 24hr time piece was
often used by pilots and military men, especially in the Vietnam war. It
has a unique hacking feature which is a thin wire that comes up through
the dial between the 1 and 2 of 12. This wire stops the second hand so
you can calibrate the time to atomic time or other wristwatches, for
instance. Also has a 2nd hour hand which is opposite the hour hand and
can show you 12 hour time. Finally, the second crown is a locking bezel
device and it can make a third use of the extra hour hand for another
time zone. For example, if it is noon here in the states and 6pm in
London I would set the bezel at the smaller GMT hour hand at the 18 for
18 hundred hours/6pm and then all I need to do for London time is read
the bezel where the GMT hand points. This model is one of the many
vintage watches which has gone up in value quite a bit in the last 10
years. We sold this exact watch about 7 years ago, for about half, so
the original owner is doing well reselling and making a nice profit. All
steel with a screw on water proof back. Lots of scuffs, scratches and
nicks mostly seen on the back, some on the middle body and lugs and a
few on the bezel. Mostly not seen at all with the naked eye as the case
has been lightly buffed. Real nice rotating bezel. Crowns are modern
replacements. Runs great and remember, this watch only makes one
revolution per 24hrs unlike normal time pieces which revolve twice each
day. Measures 36 mm wide (not including the
crown) x 46 mm long x 12 mm thick.

Title:
Rare 1968 Omega Speedmaster Professional
Serviced
Description:
GOOD/VERYGOOD condition. Although this rare "pre-moon" chronograph
has seen better days it does have it virtues. First, it was purchased
from the wife of the first and only owner and is all original except for
the crown which is a fairly recent authentic Omega replacement. The
perfect original dial adds mucho value which has the coveted applied
Omega symbol and long tritium indices, the two of which are distinctive
of early "pre-moon" speedmaster dials. Also, the bezel insert is
original and has faded to a vintage gray in color from black. Most
sellers will replace this insert and not disclose that fact as there is
not an easy way to tell. Secondly, the Omega Caliber 861 hand wound
movement has stayed clean and bright with little sign of age and it has
been fully serviced, oiled and timed by our watchmaker which
comes with a one year warranty and has a $225 value and is one of the
earliest Cal. 861's every produced as they only started them in 1968.
Chronographs are very difficult to disassemble compared to time only
watches and very expensive to service. The case is full of nicks and
scuffs even though we have buffed it lightly and the original Omega
crystal which has a black crystal ring has also aged with some lightly
buffed scuffs and fading of the crystal ring which you can see under the
"swiss made" and in other areas around the outside of the dial. We can
put a new correct Omega crystal with the proper black crystal ring on
the watch for an additional $100. The original bracelet which is very
very rare is available also but it has no end pieces and is for parts
only, broken and over used. This model has sold for over $1000 on ebay
in good condition (yes, I mean just the bracelet). We'll add a nice
strap or after market steel bracelet of your choice. Keeps superb time
and the chrono works just like it should. Finally, it is not uncommon to
find these old watches with missing anti-magnetic dust covers like ours.
Click here to see what those
are and what the next generation (1969,70,71) moon watch looks like.
Notice the different dial and back.
Click here to see the last version (1973 and later) which is
basically the same today. Measures 42 mm wide (not including the crown)
x 49 mm long x 14 mm thick.
